Stephan Brusche is an artist based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, who has been giving banana fruits a new purpose for almost 7 years now. By drawing and carving them, this artist turns plain bananas into banana art, showing that creativity indeed has no limits.
Brusche discovered that the bananas might actually work as a unique canvas very naturally. "It all started a few years back when I just started using Instagram," told the artist Bored Panda before. "I was at work and I just wanted to post something. I then noticed my banana and I figured it would make a nice post if I just drew a little happy face on it." He was amazed at how pleasant a banana peel is to draw on and decided to do it again the next day.
"After that, I tried to come up with new ideas for unique artworks while using the shape of the banana in all kinds of clever ways. Trying to keep pushing myself I eventually started doing some fruit carvings as well."

this sh*t is bananas. B_A_N_A_N_A_S! *sorry is just popped into my mind* beautiful and creative art tho.
I love the creativity and uniqueness here. I just hope these bananas don't go to waste; I've lost count of how many I've seen.
It does lend itself to incredible art! But, is there a way to keep it??? Or is it fleeting art??
Amazing. Just curious though, he said he was at work and decided to draw on a banana. What? Who does that? Where does he work? A hallucinogenic mushroom farm? As an LSD tester?
