30 Times Anti-Vaxxers Were So Ridiculous That It Was Funny, As Shared By This Twitter Profile
COVID-19 has surely changed people’s lives not only by directly threatening their lives but also by spreading chaos, obscurity, and distrust. For quite some time, everyone has known that the most effective way to end this misery and the constraints is to invent a vaccine that would fight the virus. Vaccines are known to be a helpful and reliable way out of the pandemic, so once it was discovered and presented to the public, people once again were given the hope that soon this all would be over. However, not everyone is convinced that these vaccines are reliable and pose no threat to our health. The disagreements between those who believe in vaccination and those skeptical about it have become quite the topic, with various (scientific) proof and personal experiences as well as fake news and propaganda.

In December 2020, a Twitter account called @BadVaccineTakes was created. The account that now has almost 33k followers posts “bad science/conspiracies,” or in other words, shares content that is created and spread by anti-vaxxers. BadVaccineTakes include tweets with pictures revealing various conspiracy theories about the negative outcomes of vaccines that are not true and discourage people from getting the shot that can prevent them from experiencing harsh symptoms of the virus.
I really really really truly deeply and thoroughly cannot stand anti-vaxxers.
Even though it is hard to deny the efficacy of the vaccines, there are numerous reasons why some people still refuse to get them. So what are these reasons? First of all, some are still in denial that there is such thing as COVID-19, thinking that it is just a hoax, a lie that makes it easier to monitor people. And even if the virus is true, then their own immune system will be able to fight it.
LOL. Millions of Iranian rial, maybe. (For context: One Iranian rial is about 0.000024 of one US Dollar. In reverse, that's over 42K Iranian rials per US dollar, so millions in rials is.... about a 100 bucks or so.)
Another reason for not wanting to get a vaccine is that it was discovered very recently and so we don’t know what side effects it could have on us. A lot of people who are against the vaccine share theories about it changing one’s DNA, as well as causing infertility or birth defects.
Of course, everyone can have doubts about this situation and the potential way out of this, but it seems that with time, these fears that later turn into misinforming theories are getting out of hand, causing people to lose their loved ones or put themselves at risk.
https://factcheck.afp.com/http%253A%252F%252Fdoc.afp.com%252F9F79UG-1 (TLDR: you can't patent segments of human DNA, and the vax doesn't change it anyway.)
And yet, we're alive. Without lifelong complications from Covid, even. Hmm.
Despite the fact that vaccines from COVID-19 were found not that long ago, various reports show that they are in fact effective and help prevent people from experiencing heavier COVID-19 symptoms. According to GOV.UK, vaccines are highly efficient and help to more easily avoid “hospitalization from the Delta (B.1.617.2) variant.”
What are your thoughts on this situation? Don’t forget to write it down in the comments down below!
Disgusting, Comparing the Holocaust to the Covid-vaccine. Tasteless, vile and disgusting.
I don't even know where to start - it looks like that letter is using quotes from Holocaust survivors and victims to push the anti-vaccine agenda. People who have seen mass deaths from typhus are not anti-vaccine. I wish they had been given the choice this person is selfishly throwing away - disgusting beyond words
Who has the AUDACITY to use a NAZI star of david for an anti vax poster. What brings someone to do this? WHY would someone do this. Most Jews are smart enough to use vaccines and not endanger others.
Who does this? Ignorant, brainwashed, privileged jackasses who have never truly experienced suffering of any kind.
Load More Replies...I worked indigent defense for a decade. I used to get these handwritten manifestos allllll the time. Usually in inmate mail.
First paragraph: quoting 'Hungarian Jew' Second paragraph: stating what they will say yes and no to (social distancing, vaccine passports, news channels talking and supporting masks, vaccines, and social distancing) Third paragraph: more quotes tl;dr: idiots complaining about basic kindness to anyone unable to get vaccinated, showing their ignorance about anything medical, and just generally being horrible human beings
... rip the pamphlet off daily. Keeps them from harming people, when they write it over and over again. I guess, printers are somehow evil, too...
yeah you know, three cartridges, each with 60mL ink, 60mL 60mL 60mL = 6 6 6
Load More Replies...Another Martin Luther and his 95 theses? ts;cr (too small; couldn’t read).
Did somebody make a gold star of David armband that said ‘nOt VaXxEd’ at some point or am I art-reading an image too much?
That looks totally normal. I bet the JW stay away, and they are antivax too.
So tacky to use the yellow star. I have family that died in the Holocaust. In no way is it equivalent!!!
Disgusting, vile, monstrous creatures. Go burn in Hell.
"She looked like she saw a ghost" ----- yes, b/c the level of stupid is just too hard to believe. Also, if you try this in real life, good luck with security. They're more irked by these than I am. And I'm fairly well irked.
If you think t his will fool anyone in the medical field, you go right ahead and try. The med schools can always use a spare for teaching purposes.
"Gene therapy jibber jab" will be forwarded to my FIL, who helped pioneer the whole modern DNA test, its sequencing, and the use of it in detecting and treating disease. Didn't get the Nobel, but he got in the finals, so.... Yeah. "Gene therapy jibber jab".
Vaggcine? Marin crops? Took me a second to sort out Marine Corps 🤣🤣
Oh Lord spare us... Graphene oxide has been in you and around you for decades. It's common. It's a form of carbon (graphene) and it's not a big deal, so...
If you found an aluminum-based lifeform, you've just won yourself a Nobel in biology.
He was 92, died four days ago, and no cause of death is yet released to the media. And he was 92. So, y'know. Wow, vaccinated people still die of other things! Age, cancer, car accident ----- stupid anti-vaxxers who spread new variants of the disease ----
They're worried about birth defects, but not miscarriages from getting covid, when that's demonstrably occurring. *sigh*
As someone who has done yoga, loves reading, is vegetarian.... please do not take this person as representative of those who yoga, read, and are vegetarian.
WTF? Yes, they have, and yes, they will continue to do so. Thi sis also the high end of what most docs will recommend, many prefer yoou dont' go over 40. If you take too much vitD, you risk hypercalcemia (your calcium skyrockets) and you get nausea, kidney failure, death, no big deal.... Wait, never mind. Hand 'em the VitD.
I have had both doses of the vaccine for many months now, and I'm feeling fine. I don't know any vaxxed individual that is feeling any of these bulls-hit side effects claimed by these antivaxx dumb dumbs. When will they wake up? How much more evidence do they need that vaccines are largely safe and effective?
First they have to learn the difference between imagination and reality. Which is difficult when they've been taught for their entire lives that a specific group of corrupt individuals peddling most of these blatant lies can be trusted to tell them the truth...

Load More Replies...The more of those stupid comments I read, the more my brain started to leak out my ears.
I've had five shots so far, 3 from a trial and two pfizers. Still alive. Amazingly. Only side-effect is great 5G reception, and periodically my arm wants to download windows updates from Bill.
ZAPanda, my antlers are coming in nicely. How about yours?

I don't converse with them about anything political, religious,or vaccine related. Because they don't realize that the crazy just fires right on out of them like silly string any time someone even says "Vaccine". Try it. Stand in a bunch of people now days and just, with a buddy, say it louder than you normally would. I flat guarantee that you will have the reverse joy of a dance flash mob in seconds. Just got my booster. Thank you.
well it *is* a quick way to tell who is a moron and who to block, right? just set a social media status and block anyone who emerges from the woodwork.
Load More Replies...This would be funny if these people weren’t helping create the next delta variant. Working in the hospital and watching these people come on dying unnecessarily is so disheartening.
To the aliens secretly watching and judging the worth of humanity: we are not like these people and are more ashamed than you, please give us the technology to eject them sunward
I think it's hilarious that this COVID thing has spawned thousands of Amateur 'Scientists/Alchemists.' It reminds me of the fools I knew in college (late'60s - early '70s) who became self-appointed "Know-it-alls" when it came to interactions of vitamin supplements and LSD or Weed. In all to just listen to this babbling would have made great material for National Lampoon or other such humor magazines...
I had astrazeneca for my first shot and I slept for about 12 hours straight, slight fever and super tired but that's pretty much it for side effects. Moderna for my second shot and a bit sleepy and sore for 24 hours... I look back on that 12 hours of sleep so fondly. *sigh* that was nice. OH also now I am less likely to die from covid if that is considered a 'side effect'.
The fact that they call us “the jabbed” is just too much to handle 😂
My cousin's girlfriend is anti-vaxxer. She had covid before vaccines were available, but fortunately did not end up in the hospital. And now she convinced that if she catch covid again, she will die. But she refuse vaccination, telling everyone that vaccines are poisonous and vaccinated people will die in the next two years. My cousin believes ridiculous conspiracy theories as well. Just why?
plain stupid? lack of understanding of basic high school biology?
Load More Replies...I decided to skip reading all of these. Maybe should we not advertise these people stupidity. We already know they're ridiculous and we will discontinue getting our vaccines as we should trying to save the rest of the world one idiot at a time
This isn't as funny as I would like. Am seeing stories of these anti-vaccine nutjobs talking about murdering the rest of us, claiming that we're "no longer human" based on their insane lack of understanding of anything science-related. Look for the crazies with the black American flags.
google 'dad kills kids with speargun' 'vaccine' 'lizard' for more.
Load More Replies...My SIL will call my hubby every so often. We are vaxxed and her first question is ALWAYS "got covid?". We say NO then have to hear about her kids having covid for the 5th or 6th time, they are all unvaxxed. Wouldn't you think this would give her a clue? She just wants us to get it so she can point a bony finger and s ream "see what the shot did". I wouldn't give her the satisfaction, but I Vax for the flu too. Never asked about that...
I've met a depressing amount of them in UK sorry to say
Load More Replies...If only it was like that, but the isue is that it is not only themself that will end up hurt by their stupidity. As the vaccines are not 100% effective, getting enough below the critical threshold that the disease cannot replicate fast enough to survive would be major benefit for everybody. Furthermore there are people who wish they could be vaccinated but for some reason or another cannot, e.g. because their immune system is not strong enough to handle the vaccine, or they are allergic to it etc. The antivaxers are not only risking their own health but their poor decisions may end up killing someone's granny, and I find that very hard to accept people dying from misinformation. That is especially true when children dies as a consiquense of their parents thinking they were wiser than the medical community.
