Parenting is one of life’s biggest and most enjoyable challenges. Helping your children grow into incredibly capable, morally upstanding, and passionate dreamers is every parent’s wish. However… we sometimes lose faith in the future of the human race when we see how some parents are acting online. The sad fact is, just because someone is a parent doesn’t mean that they’re a good one (even if they love their kids as much as anyone else).

There’s an online group on Reddit with 245k members called '[Stuff] Mom Groups Say' that’s been active since 2018. It's dedicated to shaming bad moms and all of their mom group drama. From anti-vaxx showdowns to debates about essential oils, the subreddit believes that these parents deserve to be called out for their behavior that, frankly, causes more harm than good.

Scroll down to lose a chunk of your faith in humanity, upvote the best of the worst pics, and do let us know what you think about these anti-parents, dear Pandas. Bored Panda spoke about the drama and misinformation that sometimes can be found in social media mom groups with the moderators of the '[Stuff] Mom Groups Say' subreddit, as well as with Samantha Scroggin, the founder of the 'Walking Outside in Slippers' parenting blog. Check out what they had to say below to pick up some great advice.

THERE ARE NO FETAL CELLS IN THE VACCINE. ----- we have this in red outlined in black on a p;oster at the hospital here, with a nice handout on the history of vaccine & other research and the use of cells from fetuses and dead people in that research. This misconception arises in part from the phrasing "Fetal tissue research involves cells from dead fetuses that are harvested". they mean the ceclls were harvested. the fetuses weren't killed for 'em. Nor was Henrietta Lacks. Please, people, vaccinate! Or we're never getting a vacation again....

From Fullfact.org There are no foetal cells in the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine 26 NOVEMBER 2020 WHAT WAS CLAIMED Aborted male foetal cells called MRC-5 are in the Covid-19 vaccine. OUR VERDICT The cell strain referenced isn’t used to manufacture the vaccine. A different cell strain, derived from kidney cells taken from a female foetus aborted in the 1970s was used to propagate the virus for the vaccine. These cells don’t make it to the final product.

Just because nothing happened to you doesn't mean it's "completely safe". You are not the standard of safety. Vaccine reactions are real, and vaccines are not safe for everyone. Everyone has a right to make a personal choice for themselves.

Basically the answer seems to be 'no', but it's a question that is being taken seriously by the religious community, as shown by this article that takes a careful look at the question: https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/is-the-coronavirus-vaccine-made-from-fetal-cell-lines-99246 While not being a religious Christian (or religious Jew or Muslim), I do not think it's a reason to ridicule someone - especially since they would likely be fine with a vaccine that was shown to be 'ethically sourced' according to their religious guidelines.

That is not actually the vaccine, the monoclonal antibodies that are treating people with severe covid 19 are harvested from cloned cells from an abortion from the '70s. Maybe get the vaccine so when you get really sick someone doesn't choose for you when you're intubated.

"In my experience with online parenting communities, it's best to abide by the rules posted in these groups. Usually, that means no selling anything and no foul language, at a minimum. I generally try to be patient with people and open to different viewpoints, but it's aggravating when people are acting ignorant or spreading misinformation. In those cases, I try to give evidence of the facts without personal attacks," parenting blogger Samantha said.

Samantha used to be a professional journalist and is now a public information officer which means that she's very wary of fake facts. "Parents will make all kinds of claims in parenting groups online, including that vaccines are harmful. They'll recommend all sorts of remedies. But it's up to us to seek out reputable sources of information to help us make our own decisions on what's best for our kids," she warned that we have to do proper research instead of believing every bit of advice that we find online.

"I think we should reserve judgment of others' parenting styles when the actions taken are harmful to the child. And I realize what is harmful is open to interpretation. But if no one is being abused, let's have some grace for one another and the choices we make. Each child is different, and parents often know what works best for their child. Parenting is hard, and we can use as much support as we can get," she added.

"kindergarten as it is now" ... I don't know what kind of kindergarten you have, but the ones that I know of involve a lot of play time and fun activities, including learning social skills. Of course kindergarten teachers are well aware of kids' short attention spans, so they would plan the activities and learning accordingly.

Probably because the German school system is pretty different from America. You guys have like four forms / stages. We just have “school” that you go to from about age 5 to about age 18. You guys have “gymnasium” and vocational stuff for non-adults. It’s a very different system. Plus Germany is a lot closer to other countries culturally and physically, so naturally it’s a nation whose citizens speak multiple languages.

I thought good parents started to educate their children from the time they are born. Reading to them, playing with them, all of which is educating them. My son never got a day off of "school" he would help me shop, cook, garden... all of which were times to learn ( colors / shapes/ numbers).

The first person doesn't think kids should start school before age 5. The point they make is that kids don't pay attention for long periods of time. The second person said kids should start school early so they know how to spell a word the first person didn't know how to spell.

I'm not saying I agree with the first person, or their reasoning, but it's not an invalid argument. Success from starting kids in school at an older age is backed with significant data. The response though. I hope no one ever feels shut down by linguistic elitism wrapped in logical fallacies dripping with ignorance.

Ear cropping and tail-docking are illegal in my country. How insane do you have to be to regard abusing and animal as experience for hacking off part of your own son's penis? Another unnecessary procedure risking complications and infection for no sensible reason. Should be categorised as child abuse, it's rarely done here, only if there's a valid medical reason and that usually only happens to adults..

Kinda... inappropriate. "It's okay, I'm your Mom" is not a reason to deny your kid's privacy, they need that space too, as soon as they become aware of it, and feel "shy" **there's no English word that I can think of for the word I was thinking when I typed "Shy"**. What a wench. Independence cannot be expected of any child who is babied like that.

Meanwhile, a lot of the subreddit's moderators pitched in to answer Bored Panda's questions. The mods explained that mom groups can sometimes be full of potentially dangerous misinformation, a desire to make money off more naive parents, and perpetuating "toxic rhetoric with zero consequences." The community also calls out those online groups that fanatically believe they're raising their kids "The Right Way" and anyone not doing so is a bad parent.

"The biggest lies are the coordinated lies spread in these groups on new parents at a vulnerable point of their lives. These women don’t need essential oils, or colloidal silver, they need paid family leave, affordable post-Partum care, health equities," one moderator explained. "New parents can be as dramatic as they want to be, they’re sleep-deprived and scared and have bills piling up and a new baby. Parental groups are allowed to be dramatic, they reflect the rawest human nature at one of the most 'precious' and yet frighteningly lonesome, most physically and mentally demanding, moments of our lives."

I wish people would just read the Satanic Bible or read what the Temple of Satan does. Satanism is a very healthy anti religion that makes you ask questions and try a different point of view.

It’s illegal if she gives them to her workmates without telling them that they contain breastmilk. But if it is just for you to consume then that is your prerogative.

The moderator continued: "So when people enter their lives promising a listening ear, a magical solution, and then shame them for breastfeeding or not breastfeeding, for co-sleeping, or sleep training, or not using magical amber teething beads, or for choosing vaccinations, then those are the heinous people that need to be shamed. They are actively manipulating people with a phony agenda and they need to be called out.”

Another moderator told Bored Pand that what inspired them to start the subreddit in the first place was the overall culture in mom groups that pushed their personal parenting philosophies as the one and only way to parent.

"These groups (like Cherry Universal, with specific subgroups for the crunchy moms and the sanctimonious moms) focus on preaching their way of parenting and viciously attack anyone who doesn’t fall in line. They’re a bigger problem for society too. Do you want to know where the anti-masking movement started? Look at posts from March-May of 2020 in crunchy mom groups. They push and perpetuate vaccine misinformation and an overall general mistrust of science and they use shame, groupthink, and banning to enforce their beliefs."

I saw crap like this all the time working NICU and Newborn nursery. "No bottles and no pacifiers." It's hard to want to slap a new mom everyday and not be able to. Instead we (nurses) had to gradually convince moms to just feed their baby (or sneak and feed the poor kids ourselves).

Reason mom does not want baby using a bottle. Bottles are MUCH easier the baby does not have to "latch" on nor suck as hard. Once a baby is using a bottle it can be difficult to "make" them continue nursing. NOT feeding the child is ABUSE! You want to nurse only - quit your job and be the nurse maid. You want the benefits of breast milk, cool - pump and let the baby start on bottles.

    Myrtle Yoma

Bottles don’t disrupt a baby’s latch as much as people think. While some babies may prefer a bottle once it’s introduced, a lot go back and forth.

The ONLY way eating poop is beneficial is in very certain circumstances when someone needs a lot of help with their gut biome. Cooking it in chili would defeat the entire purpose. Medical professionals put poop in special capsules to survive stomach acid.

However, the mod pointed out that far from every single mom group is bad. "Our birth month group, for example, has been the saving grace of my journey into parenthood. I have a cohort of parents who all have a child at the same age as mine. It’s a great way to get a quick pulse on typical development and also just feel generally supported, validated, challenged to be a better parent or find different and better ways to parent in a shame-free environment. I have a virtual village and that is just really incredible."

They continued: "To be really honest, it was how supportive I found my birth month group to be that sent me out in search of additional groups. My infant won’t eat baby food—oh, maybe I should check out this baby-led weaning group for ideas! (It was great, by the way.) But then when we started stumbling onto other groups that were just cesspools of negativity, abuse, bullying, etc, we learned about the subculture of 'mommy drama groups' and decided to bring it out into the public eye."

I do empathise with the "full" pain, and if she is unable to pump/hand express. I was never able to do either (even when so engorged my boobs were hard). I had gone away for the weekend thinking I could pump, and ended up needing to come home early so I could get them to nurse. Even then I ended up with blocked ducts... I was so happy when they finally weaned at 20 months lol. I can't imagine going into the third year.

I really struggle to understand the concept of "stay at home wife". I do understand if you have a little child and want to stay at home with them, but why stay at home without kids? Like how does your marriage stop you from having a job? Isn't it boring? I don't know about other countries, but here in Germany you wouldn't get any pension when you stay at home for 30 years and what do you do financially if you break up with your husband?

Alimony is what the divorced housewives do. I could see staying at home permanently if I had more money. Hard work is only worthwhile if you’re producing a lot of value from it. In which case, once you get a lot of money, why bother continuing to slave?

I work with my partner a lot. I don’t need to see him this much. It’s a lot, and often we hang out in different rooms because otherwise we are together all day. But as SOOOON as I (or he) go anywhere, I miss him LIKE CRAZY. Alone time is nice but you should miss your partner at least a little. You don’t always have to, but it says a lot if you never do.

We’ve written extensively about how to be a great parent and how to help your kids become independent. And, considering that there still are (and always will be) plenty of parents out there who either stifle their kids or who constantly exhaust themselves, the advice bodes repeating.

Anita Cleare, a parenting expert and the author of ‘The Work/Parent Switch,’ explained to Bored Panda in a previous interview all about how to overcome the desire to be a ‘perfect’ parent and how to stay positive when we’re all way, way too exhausted.

According to parenting expert Cleare, aiming to be a ‘perfect’ parent is the wrong way to go about things. This does more harm than good because it puts lots of unreachable expectations and undue pressure on both parents and children alike.

This misconception kills. Some medications, for some ailments, are meant as cures. Others (most) are CONTROL. As in "not going to die of heart attack, stroke, pulmonary embolism, liver failure, diabetes, kidney failure, suicidal impulse" control. As in "not going to have an epileptic seizure" control. it's not a one-pill-and-cured situation unless it is gonorrhea, and even then, it's more than one pill. It's a course of antibiotics. *sigh*

Same, El Dee. To simplify what I was taught, the "creation week" was on "God's time" as opposed to time as we know it; one day to God may be millions of years. Whatever you believe, please know that most Christians also believe in science.

I am a Catholic, and we were taught that we DID NOT co-exist with the dinosaurs, and that they really did live that long ago. The Bible also doesn't mean literal days. A day in the Bible could mean hundreds of thousands of years. I haven't yet met a religious person who actually is like that, but I know that they are out there. I just wanted to make it known that the majority of us are not like that.

“Trying to be a perfect parent is bad for children and bad for parents because it sets everybody up to fail. Research shows that ‘good enough’ parenting is best for children,” Cleare explained.

Instead, the expert suggests that all parents aim for ‘good enough’ parenting that actually helps improve our kids’ independence instead of them being overly-reliant on us.

In Cleare’s words, this involves “getting it right most of the time but also failing your children in ways they can handle—so that they gradually increase their independence.”

When my daughter was only a few weeks old I bent down to give her a kiss and she latched onto my chin. She had such a powerful suck that I had to break the suction by inserting my little finger in between my chin and her mouth. I had a red mark on my chin for quite a few weeks. One of the first things you learn as a BFing parent is how to UNLATCH the little parasites. Honestly I don’t even understand why she needs to ask. It’s a very safe assumption that this woman has had a period, or if not, at least knows about periods and how to care for yourself. No adult woman needs to ask about teen pads. I’m not buying it. We can create special circumstances in our minds “well maybe she’s infertile her whole entire life and had a surrogate and went 35 years knowing nothing about periods..” No she did not. She knew. She just wanted to whine on Facebook.

I'm confused. Pads don't really come in many sizes. Can't she just go to the feminine hygiene aisle and get a pack that is labeled for "teens" if she is really unsure? Hell, ask the pharmacist at a store?

"Teen" isn't a pad size. Small, Medium, Large, Extra-Large, super thin, thin, a little thicker, medium thickness, thick, maxi thick, night time, heavy flow, wings, no wings, but not "teen." This is idiot of a mother can't figure out the size for her daughter, then someone needs to intervene and take the daughter. The mom is just to dumb to raise a teen to adulthood.

I homeschooled my daughter grades 5-7. She started kindergarten reading at a third grade level. If you're not willing to put in the work, and it is work, to educate your child, send them to brick and mortar. Those parents would make me so mad. They made hard for those of us who took homeschooling seriously, not to mention the damage they were doing to their kids. You always here about these parents. You never hear about the young woman in Atlanta who graduated college with a masters degree in engineering at 18. A higher percentage of homeschoolers start and graduate college younger, quite simply because their primary and secondary education can be accelerated. Just a reference, check the education of the winners of the National Spelling Bees and Science Fairs

I'm 17, I was raised unschooled until high school. Unschooling is the idea that kids will learn what they need to know by themselves and explore their own interests. My parents taught my siblings and me how to read and count but after that, it was up to us. We did math on Khan Academy (we had a rule that we had to do 20 minutes of math for 20 minutes of video games), read whatever books we wanted, explored our own interests in great depth, spent hours playing and walking outside every day, and just had a great childhood. When we got into high school, we weren't behind and we all became high honors, straight-A students, so unschooling can be both enjoyable and successful. I actually wrote a whole essay on why unschooling is good for my persuasive writing class last year.

Recent studies have shown that when a baby feeds directly from the mother, the saliva in the baby's mouth send signals to receptors in the areola for the formula to change to suit the baby's nutritional needs. This can be helpful when the baby is sick. As far as I am aware, the study did not include adults.

Let's be clear, in Mongolia (for example) breast milk is considered very normal and very healthful. It is absolutely normal for adults to drink it on occasion. The fact people are so very disturbed by this speaks less well of our society.

But he isn’t lazy. He raised the son just fine. He is sexist. He sees his daughter as a sex object only and thankfully at least isn’t sexually interested in his own daughter. Since she cannot sexually gratify him she has no value, because she is a girl. Only boys have non sexual value, to a guy like that.

I feel for the mum, This is not a sexualising thing, this is a learned trait from his parents. The mum has the difficult task of trying to break it. My husbands parents don't show affection to their children as much as they should (due to a tragic family incident) My husband is improving all the time, but he still finds it strange to kiss his son though they do at least hug now.

No, it’s a sexualizing thing. “Sexual” isn’t a synonym for horny. He sees a naked female body as purely sexual. He doesn’t want to have sex with the baby obviously. Therefore he isn’t comfortable seeing her sexual body naked.

Of coures, teaching a young boy it's okay to have an adult male touch him is okay...???? (I asked my late dad about this, as this is why he did not hug his daughters. I got walloped. You'd be surprised at how often people do that. When my family and I got our hamsters (after planning and researching during the 2 years we had left between thinking about looking after some hamsters and actually getting some), the lady at the pet shop educated us on how to look after them, giving us pamphlets and telling us what we already knew as if she'd dealt with many people before who just walked in on a whim and decided they'd pick up a rabbit as casually as if they were shopping for vegetables. I pity the poor pets who got stuck with those people.

Parvovirus is a HUGE deal. Not vaccinating a puppy for parvo is cruel and stupid. THERE IS NO WAY TO SAVE A PUP WHO HAS PARVO. All they can do is "supportive care" and hope the pup survives. And the younger the pup the more likely they are to die. If you are NOT going to take care of your pup you should not be allowed to have a pup.

Parvo vaccines are a requirement everywhere your dog is boarded. The disease kills dogs, fast. Even if you don't board your dog, your puppy should still have this vaccine. Furthermore, if you take your dog out of the US, many cou tries will seize and euthanize your dog if it doesn't have a current rabies vaccine. Seriously though... Pet vaccines are cheap. If you cant afford the vaccines, you cant afford the pet.

Yes taking antibiotics before is a thing. I need to take them before the dentist so if bacteria enters my bloodstream from my mouth it doesn't go and sit on my weakened heart. its basically a precaution.

Because they are refusing antibiotics any dentist will refuse to pull the tooth or perform a root canal until the infection is gone. Because of moronic parents not doing what is best for their child, they are now going to pull a tooth out of a child's head without any knowledge of nerves, infections and that this could kill their kid.

It's a common prophylactic practice. The extraction of an infected tooth could release large amounts of bacteria that may affect other parts of the body. Foxxy, you probably didn't have infected teeth.

“A teacher, coach, grandparent, or, of course, parent who thinks you are terrific and ready to wow the world can make all the difference in the world,” Skenazy said, pointing out that when the support’s not there, it can have negative consequences on the child. So it’s important to balance support while also letting kids develop their independence.

According to Skenazy, how a parent tells their kids something is often more important than what they tell them to do. Kids take cues from grownups, so even phrasing something differently or using a different tone can have positive effects even if the topic that’s being talked about is far from pleasant.

58th pageant in 18 months. I wouldn’t be so worried about the sippy cup, I would be more concerned about the effects these pageants would have on your daughter in the future. Like body image issues being the biggest cause of concern.

I can understand why little girls would enjoy dressing up and being in a pageant. What I don't understand is why pageants exist. Is this purely for the gratification of paedophiles??

This sounds so unhealthy to me. Isn't eating more that 3-4 eggs per day bad for you? I remember when I was a child around Easter us kids would have so much fun cracking the eggs and would therefore eat a lot of them. Some kids got sick from that and one boy had a toxic reaction once (not allergic, just ate too many).

Eating an excess of anything will make you ill. For example, too much fruit can lead to several different intestinal problems, not to mention increased risk of diabetes (yes, fructose is still sugar.)

“The best way to make sure that a child starting out in the world feels like their parents believe in them—rather than simply being fed up—is for the parent to make it explicit!” Skenazy explained that this is how parents can communicate to their kids that it’s time to be more independent.

The expert also highlighted that telling the child that you’ll always love them, even though they’re becoming more independent is a healthy, mature way of communicating with them. However, that relies heavily on the parents themselves learning to loosen their grips on their kids and setting the bar for their expectations lower (which, maybe counterintuitively, leads to healthier, happier families).

So, dear Readers, what did you think of this list? Were there any pics that made you go, “Wow, that’s enough internet for me today?” Where do you think the line between being a good and a bad parent lies? What’s the best way to avoid drama on parent groups on social media? Share your thoughts and feelings in the comment section below. And remember, stay excellent!

I hear this a lot. "Common core" came about because many school districts stopped teaching mathematics and literacy. For example, one southern Indiana county had mathematica as an elective past the 8th grade. Since students from these districts were graduating as functional illiterates, the federal government stepped in and set a minimum standard school districts had to meet to be eligible for funding.

Why do we think this is weird. Young children, up till about five years old have a natural need to be close to their moms breasts. To a child a breast is nursing and safe. They like to either hold them, cuddle them or kiss them even. Children are not the one sexualising this, adults are. Tje behaviour will naturally pass when the child gets older.

I think an innocent kiss from a 3 year old that happens to land there is one thing but to deliberately go to it and kiss them is different. Nothing to scold or embarrass them about, hut gently tell them we don't kiss there, or say "I really like cheek kisses!" And redirect. We wouldn't let them kiss our vagina because thats where we birthed them, but if we were sitting and they came over for a hug, put their head down, and gave a kiss, and it happened to be in the area, that is nothing to correct. Or the child comes for a hug and their hands grabs momma's butt, they don't mean anything. But if they came by to specifically grab your butt and squeeze it and talk about it, that is not appropriate. Edit: But I do agree it is natural until about 5. They are curious, and have no idea of anything sexual. My kids were not breast fed and were|are obsessed. They try to grab and squeeze them. But it doesn't mean it is encouraged. I just say that is not what they're for.

Nope, for a year or so after ending breast feeding my son used to pat my boobs and comment on how much he liked them. These are tiny children. They appreciated the comfort and closeness. Breasts are not sex organs. Children are not sexual beings. Anyone reading that who can only see it as a sexual act needs to step back and think.

Eh. It’s an idiot’s summary of the government. People like this pretend there’s no difference between very distinctly different policies and just act like it’s all the same. This is the kind of toxic ignorance that gives you people who think “the media is all liars and all politicians are bad in the same ways.” Meanwhile not every politician is wanting to do the same things. They want very different things.

Breast milk will absolutely treat minor surface infections. It has live antibodies in it. This isn't some crazy theory from a youtube video, it's documented fact. I've treated an ear infection for my baby son in that way. We're not doctor refusers or anything, but it wasn't immediately possible to get to a medical facility but I had bm ready right there. I know plenty of mums that start by trying bm while waiting until morning and a doctor's appointment and swear by it. Bloody hell, in the furious attempt to discredit any woman that 100% doesn't tow the line of only sticking to things are advertised widely and very mainstream basic biological facts are being thrown out the window. But, you know, denigrating as many women as possible is the most important factor.

These people are all nuts but as a young child I had a breast milk in eyes experience (stay with me!). On the way to a big family dinner I decided to spray my mom's perfume on me and ended up spraying in both eyes. I was hysterical! My nurse aunt flushed my eyes with water in the bathroom but it wasn't enough. Finally, she threw her hands up and her and mom took me in a stall and my aunt used breast milk to flush my eyes. Totally weird but it worked! I would never put breast milk in the eyes unless it's a last resort.

This actually pretty popular and doesn't harm....but for infants, maybe as a first step before you can get meds. Or if it clears, then you won't need meds. But for a 2 year old when you don't breast feed, it is a no brainer.

Reflexology, what this actually is and what these idiots are poorly referring to, is based upon the energy meridians of the body. Energy meridians are a very important part of Chinese medicine. It's an effective therapy, but God has nothing to do with it.

Right. I was told that the balder the baby, the more hair they will have as an adult! My daughter was bald as an egg until she was 9 months old...now her hair is INSANELY thick and to the middle of her back at 4 yrs old. This kid's hair will probably be longer and thicker than their older daughters!

Every doctor should only prescribe 'if need be'. If it's prescribed, it's needed. If you don't want to take the doctors advice, that is your right, get a second opinion, but to ignore advice altogether is ill-advised.

I think you're all assuming that she's looking for some kind of anti-vax essential oils doctor, but she's not. She's looking for a doctor who is going to be honest and not charge for meds she doesn't need (I'm assuming this is an American post), and who is able to provide the spiritual support she also needs when she is feeling scared or nervous. I know lots of Christian doctors and nurses who became medical professionals because of their faith driving their desire to serve and help people (not saying that non-Christians don't also have these drivers, but for my friends these are connected).

In her/his defence, in some cases it can be beneficial when you and your doctor share the same cultural background. The doctor may understand your opinion towards certain treatments better, and has more of your trust when giving you advice.

My son’s ophthalmologist has a small nondescript sign in his exam rooms that says something like “Dr. Norman would be happy to pray with you before your exam.” As an atheist, I find it to be perfectly fine. He otherwise does not bring his religious views into our visits or his office. But I can’t imagine a doctor who asks YOU, unprovoked, if he can pray with you. Yuck.

Perhaps she's from a small town in the Bible Belt, where that may be part of their town culture? But you're right, for the doctor to say that, without knowing how it would be received could be very confronting/provoking.

This one is honestly fine considering the opioid crisis and other scandals where doctors are too quick to give out meds. As for the prayer part, they're allowed to ask about that. Same as saying, hey, anyone know a good black doctor I can support. Or, anyone know a doctor that is very pro-choice who won't ask me a million questions if I want an abortion? Unless we shame people for those things too and then in that case don't know what to tell you.

Totally agree - so many friends were devastated when they found they couldn't breast feed for whatever reason, it made them feel like they were inferior because of the culture of breast is best where we are. I put myself through months of pain because my own mum disdained formula feeding (I blistered, this isn't common before anyone gets scared). If I get the chance I say to them that mum skills 101 is keeping the child alive - breast or formula or a mix of the two do that.

I'm hypercalcemic and have been told by doctors to drink lots of lemon (real lemon) water / juice. It does help break down the calcium. I'm not sure about the bloodbrain barrier. And not one of them, over 30 years, has mentioned apple cider vinegar. Also, ingesting too much of anything is bad for you. And before taking something for medical reasons, TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR. Why guess???

Dear concerned citizen, This is a lie. The magnetic field created by our microchips power core causes them to stick to the inside of the needle. We now give all microchips via ice-cream. Kind regards, 'they'.

    1) Ehat makes you think you are so fascinating that the government would spend millions to develop a method to track you 24/7? 2) Why are you worried about the government gathering information on you and not telling anyone, but bot worried about your social media account gathering that information and giving it to anyone who asks?

The government already knows whatever it wants to via your phone. The reciprocal arrangement between the USA and UK mean that the US's NSA spy on UK residents and UK's GCHQ are spying on US residents. The information they get is then passed to each other. The reason for the arrangement being thus is that in both countries it is illegal to spy on your own people, so essentially they just sub-contract it. You can read all about it online, the actual documents are available to read. Edward Snowden was the one who released the information on this and on the other ways that US/UK are spying on us, breaking the law and committing atrocities knowingly. So there's absolutely NO need for chips. The only thing this story is any good for is disinformation to have people think they're not already being spied on - it's been going on for YEARS now..

First of all, the needle bore is different for microchipping than vaccinating, and second, if you're on the internet, odds are you're already tracked and tagged, and third, IIRC, Sweden has people walking around who voluntarily have a rice-grain microchip, to make it all more convenient (swipe hand to purchase, open car, confirm ID, etc.). And yet, Skynet has not evolved.

So many people believe that they get the flu from the flu vaccine when in fact it is impossible because the flu vaccine is not a live vaccine. If you get sick after the flu jab then you contracted the virus before it kicked in, you have something else and not actually the flu or you have a different strain of flu that the vaccine doesn’t protect you against.

The nasal spray is called Flumist, I believe. And it is possible to get the flu because the vaccine isn't 100%, even for the strains it covers. However, you will have a much more mild version of the flu if you get the vaccine, PERIOD.

I love that they trust their immune systems and they still can't understand that vaccines only work in conjunction with our immune systems. So I trust my immune system more because I have had vaccines.

At that age you're better off sticking with sensory projects for crafts- the kids need to get dirty. You won't get any serious crafting until they are about 8 or so. I've worked with kids up to 5, there's a reason most art for them is cotton ball glued on a sheep cutout or just playing with foam.

Maybe try into something aimed at children, like crayons, or playdough. Scrapbooks or adding glitter or stickers to drawings are a good start, but expect to be doing it WITH them, and plan for a short attention span.

Also, I used to do crafts with my nieces and nephews when they were around this age and never had a problem getting them to engage, maybe that's because I chose age appropriate crafts for them, encouraged them, and helped when they needed it or asked for it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

What is the big deal. If the baby is in it’s cot, isn’t crying or stressed then I don’t see an issue. The baby doesn’t know what is going on at that age.

...does the baby need anything? I would want to focus on thr baby's needs. Husband can entertain himself. At 5 months they may want to have the baby in their own room, if they can, so they don't have ro worry about that... I don't have an issue of a 5 month old who is entertained with stuff but when would the parents say "Ok, you can't be here, anymore." Because there is a time where there is no gray area and it is clearly child abuse because they're aware of what is going on. Babies don't have a clue. I'm gonna get downvoted but whatever.
