If hospitals are supposed to help you get well, then they ought to be doing this in every single way possible. From making the surroundings warm and welcoming to providing you nutritious, wholesome, and homely meals so you can get your strength back as fast as possible. Unfortunately, you Pandas and I all know that this isn't the case. Hospital food is absolutely horrid in a huge number of hospitals. And, frankly, we deserve better.
We wanted to show you just how bad hospital food can get all over the world, so our hard-working team at Bored Panda compiled this list that's bound to make you angry like professional chef Gordon Ramsay. Remember to upvote the best of the worst photos and let us know what the food was like during your most recent stay at the hospital.
The reason why hospital food is so bad and so banal it hurts is because of money. Or rather, the lack of it. And let's not forget the fact that often hospitals don't even make the food that they serve to patients and the staff members themselves; they outsource it. As you're about to find out, there are quite a few things that look as lonely on a plate as two tiny sausages with some parsley.
I wanted an insider's perspective, so I reached out to Holly D., a labor and delivery nurse. She told Bored Panda that she's experienced hospital as a patient as well and was very let down by it. "I have been in a patient role in the not-so-distant past and have experienced the dreaded hospital food tray. This often leads the patient to request family members to drop off alternate food to them at the hospital. For me, it was disappointing, to say the least, after laboring and finally delivering my first child," she said. Have a read through her in-depth insights on how to fix hospital food below, dear Pandas.

This Is The Meal My Wife’s Hospital Had The Audacity To Serve For Nurses Appreciation Week. I Live In Phoenix
After a year nurse shortages, running out of PPE, working employees to the bone without hazard pay.
Meanwhile the CEO is cutting into a big ass steak….Nothing irked me more than big businesses taking advantage of their staff who are hard-working people busting their asses for others every single day. A special pox in place in hell for those guys
Maybe they took the leftovers? I bet there were a lot of them

What You Get For Breakfast In A Hungarian Hospital
Maybe include some garlic to keep vampires away, for good measure..
Load More Replies...i don't know why you were downvoted. A lot of cultures eat raw onions, even for breakfast, it is very good for health. And this one is really sweet and comes with some sweet cheese. I would rather have this for breakfast than highly processed human kibbles made with the food industry wastes, especially if i was fighting a disease.
Load More Replies...I'm sorry but bread with cream cheese and chopped spring onion is delicious! I would eat this any time!
Simple is fine but could at least have the onion chopped or?? Sometimes being in the hospital you need that extra help...?
Did you go for the veggie option? I was once given a piece of asparagus on bread.
This is the best hungarian hospital food I have ever seen. So imagine the worst...
I am a Hungarian, so trust me when I say this: this is actually a fine and generous portion meal...
Hospital Administration Told Us They'd Be Treating Us To Dinner During Our Shift. "Dinner" Is One Individual, Frozen, Uncooked Meatloaf Per Person. This Is Georgia
Happy nurse's week, y'all.
Agreed! It reminds me of the skit a friend of mine wrote in high school. He played an incompetent surgeon who implanted his dinner (pork chop) in a patient instead of the donor kidney.
Load More Replies...This is an insult to nurses and possibly a crime against humanity. Why didn’t they give you a cake ffs?
I never understood the whole meatloaf (and several other things). Here we eat potatoes and veggies, rice and veggies, pasta and veggies etc as the bigger part of dinner. Meat or fish is just a little extra and normally (in homes at the dinner table) served in small portions, 1 each. Not saying that we are all perfect, but holy s**t, no wonder americans are sickly and obese. Meatloaf, steak, nuggets for dinner. A load of sauce I bet and gallons of soda. I hardly ever see americans eat vegetables, let alone as the main part of the meal
I eat loads of veggies and I'm an American. My meals are as you describe with meat or fish as smaller portion. I also do not drink soda except on a rare occasion.
Load More Replies...Georgia the US state is known for "Southern meatloaf." Georgia the country is known for lamb stew, cornbread, walnuts, and goat cheese.
Load More Replies..."At a prior hospital that I worked for, a newly appointed director questioned every patient during their stay to hear our patients' biggest complaints and/or concerns. The recurring theme was 'bad food.' Once we received this feedback, the idea for an alternate menu for laboring/postpartum women was introduced. I couldn’t help but support this brilliant idea, and helped implement the importance of this change in menu with our mothers," nurse Holly explained that even though the food is bad, some staff members are willing to implement changes after hearing out the complaints.
I was interested to get Holly's take on why some hospitals cut corners with their food when instead it should be something filling and nutritious to help them recover quicker. According to Holly, the importance of meals while at the hospital cannot be understated.
"Food is a large part of people’s lives in every culture. It brings people together and in most instances, it is associated with happiness. For the patient, meals become the highlight of their day, especially if their time with us is extensive. In my experience, diet is one of the areas where the budget is kept to a minimum. Nutrition seems to always be met, but not always in a very creative or appetizing way," she said.
Hospital Food Yummy
It's mashed potatoes, something you'd feed to your bunny (or is it some kind of chicken pellets?), and water I guess?
It looks more like my rabbit litter pellets (used). It just need some tiny black olives to be perfect.
Load More Replies...That Apple has been pre-chewed, and lovingly molded back together in the shape of an apple. What a great "no-solids" food menu.
Except it has solids on it. No solids would be everything the consistency of the mashed potatoes.
Load More Replies...That's exactly the problem. Food is seen by governments and shareholders as a luxury and so it is massively underbudgeted and it's one of the first budgets to be cut when hospitals need to reduce their spending.
Load More Replies...It is. This is the type of food served to a patient who has difficulty chewing/few teeth.

It’s the same sausages they serve at every school I’ve gone to
Load More Replies...She ordered that you can see on the side what she ordered in hospitals you order what you want for breakfast and for lunch and for dinner.
Yes but the description probably was not "two cat turds with parsley on the side"
Load More Replies...Unfortunately no... that's a "Brown 'N Serve" pork sausage, common in foodservice because they are pre-cooked at the factory so there isn't grease to deal with.
Load More Replies...If she was on a certain diet and could only have certain foods, it might be correct. Need more to the story here.
This one is not so bad. She had cottage cheese and pear for breakfast and what appears to be a cup of coffee or tea behind them, that's a good start of the day in itself. And sausages on a proper plate are a whole lot nicer than serving them in some sort of ugly plastic container. Oh and the parsley is to chew on if you have bad breath, the nurses dealing with you will appreciate you having some
Hospital Food In Italy
What the heck is that? It looks like something that would put you into the hospital!
It’s an organ that escaped utilisation and wanted to return to any body through the digestive tract.
Naaa, that's not true. I don't know what that is but it's definitely not the whole meal. In Italy there's always some meat, or some rice or pasta, some veggies and a "dessert" (fruit, yogurt or a pudding). Sure, it doesn't taste amazing and it's very bland but it's not just a slob of gray meat, c'mon.
You are absolutely right...In Italy you have the «contorno« i.e.what surrounds the main...you do not get it piled on the same plate but separately...here only part of the meal was photographed..
Load More Replies...In Holly's view, the biggest problem with hospital food is the lackluster presentation. "When you are hospitalized, the last thing you want to be presented with is an unappetizing or highly aromatic meal in front of you. Food styles and/or cuisines should be updated. One alternative would be to offer a modernized menu for patients to select from, including choices like a bento box, flatbreads, and/or rice bowls," she suggested.
"Hospitals could incorporate a system that allowed the patient to select an alternative menu or one that includes 'fun' foods like the menu we implemented for our laboring/postpartum mothers. This would astronomically improve these patient satisfaction scores, thereby making staff members more appreciated.
Unfortunately, these alternate menus are not a standard of practice in most hospitals, and sadly it is one of the first to be taken away when the budget is cut," nurse Holly told Bored Panda that even though there are alternatives to the current low standards, sadly, they're all reliant on financial decisions from up above.

A good guess might be "depression", but actually, it was some sort of cow paste (it immediately fell apart, it was basically the consistency of mousse) in paprika sauce, mashed potato, and mushy pea purée.
Yeah, but tge description says it fell apart. Leberkäs shouldn't desintegrate itself... not sure what else it could be. But the mashed potatoes would be a sign for leberkäs. I'm confused.
Load More Replies...This looks like puree to avoid choking, such as a patient taken off a ventilator.
Umm.....mashed peas, mashed potatoes, and a slice of spam on a delightful bed of ketchup. I am so sorry for you.
That's Leberkäs, not spam, a common fast food in Germany and Austria. It should not have the consistency of mousse, though.
Load More Replies...Looks like a mashed food diet, which is required for some patients after certain surgeries/conditions. This is quite good plating for what it is, actually.
Most of these are just processed for a dysphasia diet. This one is colorful and offers a variety of shapes for interest. I think this is a step above for a hospital serving of pureed foods. The patient on this diet appreciates all efforts made to make up for the lack of textures.
Dinner In Irish Maternity Hospital
I’m starting to think we need to serve this to the CEOs during their board meetings
Those brussel sprouts look boiled... which, I think, is a sin against nature, man and anything else with a stomach.
You can boil them. Just not this long. I suspect this are canned or overcooked sprouts.
Load More Replies...I have been to an Irish Maternity hospital. I can confirm this is on par with what my wife was served :|
Financially speaking, feeding people well is expensive. And the thinking tends to be, why bother giving someone nutritious, healthy, costly meals when you can get away with a piece of bread and a sad chunk of cheese? After all, a hospital is all about helping you get better, not feeding you.
However, that line of thinking simply doesn't work when you consider the huge importance that food has on our health. In fact, have a think about how you feel when you've been eating fresh food for a while versus how lethargic you feel when you've been consuming plenty of sugar and fast food. The difference is night and day.
"Lasagna" According To Adventist Hospital
No, it's a noodle with a few microns of ricotta on it! Makes all the difference!
Load More Replies...I worked at an Adventist hospital for years! I really loved the food we had, but yes, it was vegetarian. They did bring in steak or chicken if a patient felt they desperately had to have meat. And they also served alcohol to patients if they required it (ie at risk of going into withdrawal).
You can make a perfectly fine lasagne with just vegetables and no meat! But you have to actually ADD the vegetables to the pasta for it to count.
Load More Replies...I'd laugh, but it's so hypocritical. I belong to the Adventist church. Their hospital system is a big deal in the church So is their emphasis on healthy living.
Ok….. lasagna IS actually the proper Italian name for a single lasagna noodle. What we typically Call lasagna should be called “lasagne”
Many, many years ago I was in an Adventist hospital. No meat, but it was tasty!

According to ‘Wise Geek,' hospital food is a subset of institutional food which focuses on cutting costs and appealing to the widest number of customers as possible. Though, to be fair, it's tough to imagine how the bland/disgusting food that's served is meant to appeal to anyone.
Is it enough for you to survive in a tight spot? Probably. Is it something that's going to rouse your spirits and give your body the necessary nutrients to get stronger quickly? Doubtful. The secret ingredient might be love, but there's not much of that around!

My Hospital Food Memories Are Scary. It's Lithuania
It's egg. It looks like this when you make it in a tray in a convection oven. You get it in quite a lot of hotels at the breakfast buffet.
The heart healthy "microwaved egg whites in a square with frozen peas on the side" diet. And I wish I was joking, but they gave this to my mom in the US a few years back...
The peas over here are always canned rather than frozen. They're quite nice. But not enough to feed a person.

Load More Replies...Not sure about the peas, but that egg look fluffy as heck! I'd have me some of that!
Another Lithuanian here. It varies from hospital to hospital. The one I was in (like, the most MAJOR one) was so horrible I cried. They order from some external company that delivers food not fit for pigs. Because corruption.
For the majority of us, hospital food will only ever be a quirky anecdote to tell our friends. But we forget about the people who stay in hospitals for weeks, months, and even years at a time. Imagine having to eat that swill every day. Food and cooking are important parts of being a human being and a member of your local community and society at large.
I'd actually argue that by feeding people bland, ghastly, and shocking food, you're depriving them of one of the biggest joys of being human. And that can't be good for your health. Physical, emotional, or spiritual.

Hospital Dinner In Germany At 16:30
Probably somewhere out of the picture. I cannot imagine Germans NOT serving mustard with wurst. And this looks like a pretty decent and average meal. When I was there as an exchange student, we had meat, cheese, and bread rolls for morning and evening meals. Lunch is when you would get a hot meal that included vegetables.
Load More Replies...Lecker. Two different slices of bread (we have such great bread), Leberwurst (liver sausage), but the mustard is indeed missing :)
And the metal bits holding the ends shut are for extra iron, right?
Load More Replies...Nothing inheritly wrong with that, if they also provided some butter for the cheese.
Dinners suck. But that's a whole sausage made with real meat (you can tell because it looks like s**t instead of smooth and dyed pink), and some premium bread. The Wurst, not the worst. ;)
Served in a utensil tray! To be fair, although simple, this one look nutritious and tasty.
That's most likely a hospital food plate by Bauscher ceramics.

In the Netherlands you're not allowed to lose weight in the hospital, because it interferes with the healing process apparently. My dad was made to drink high-calorie shakes to get his strength back and keep his weight up even though he was overweight and that was the reason they gave.
In France when i was puking everything they were feeding me through my veins with a cathether directly into my subclavian artery, life juice! I still have the scar from it and i have loose some weight anyway but they were very careful with it because i was already skinny, i left the hospital bony instead of skinny. They should have given me more "life juice".

It's like, look, veg folks like protein! Give us some protein alternative too! And we need calories ffs - no wonder why that person lost 10 Kg in 3 weeks eating that.
I dunno, this looks like *mostly* protein. It's like four different kinds of squashed bean mush, mixed with a few kernels of corn and some whole black beans, garnished with a few canned tomatoes? In all honesty, it really doesn't look TOO terrible, just, maybe, incomplete? Just stuff it all into a big tortilla, add some cheeses, a little hot sauce, roll it up, then roast it over an open flame for say.....8 to 12 hours? Then boom! I think it's endive/chicory. It's an acquired taste, as it's a bit bitter. Well prepared it's quite good, my favorite preparation is first boiled, then seared in a pan with a bit of brown sugar. The sugar breaks the bitterness.Quite common in north of France and Belgium as a winter vegetable, as it is grown inside.

Best one is "Chicon en gratin" or "Endive au jambon", as said by cassiushumanmother :) entremont-...f15387.jpg
Horrible Vegan Hospital Food, New Mexican Style
Why are most of these vegan? Most vegan food out of a package is gross. A hospital isn’t equipped to serve vegan food. Mostly because it’s not the best dietary option in the world. (Not judging just fact) frankly they really don’t care unless you legitimately have a reason for being vegan which I’m sorry to say is next to none medically. Vegetarian yes many reasons. Vegan? No not really. Expecting a medical facility to care about your ethics about food that are not religious based or restriction based. Grow up and get over it.

Looks Like Its Regurgitated Beef On A Bun And Carrots For Lunch Today
That looks like something Dr Pimple Popper has scraped out of a 45 year old cyst.
It remindse of the pellets that owls make in their gizzard with the excess animals fur/bones and other unedible things... Blech

In The St. Michaels Hospital, Toronto, And They Just Served Dinner
This looks great! That green stuff is mushy peas, just mushed into oblivion. Bloody lovely with fish and chips or a homemade meat and potato pie! (UK here)
You didn't have to identify you were from the UK. We knew. :)
Load More Replies...I love mash and mushy peas although they are generally not on the same plate.
It all looks artificial. I'm a Canadian live not to far from St. Mikes never been there thank God!

I Present An American Hospital Cheeseburger
What the heck is the brown thing in the middle that looks like a cross between a poo and a banana?
The so called cheeseburger is disgusting, pray tell what are the equally disgusting brown things on the side?
That's a restaurant manager fave meal- beef patty slapped with a piece of halfway melted cheese on it; and whatever side is quickest/ still sitting in window/ect. You eat no more than two bites, then get up-at least 15 minutes later come back when it's good and ice cold, but it's the best thing you ever tasted. Get 3/4 done, get up for 3 minutes, hurry back to your food-and it's gone. Busser thought it they" were done. Then you work another 8 hours. That's a classic " Managers special". All line cooks know it by name.
Breakfast In Hospital In Serbia
Not bad. Lacks a bit on presentation, but bread, butter, ham/bologna/mystery meat, egg and jam is OK.
Looks like what every other household gets for preakfast in Eastern Europe. No need to complain
I've gone gluten free because of stomach issues some weeks ago and fell so much better. If I ever have to go to a hospital I'm gonna be very hungry...
An egg Hopefully cooked, a slab of deli meat two slices of a baguette and a cup of pony piss and this looks fine. check your specks.
Mums In Hospital Over The Weekend With Heart Trouble. She Sent Me A Picture Of Her Lunch. It’s England
It looks like a 1/4 of a baked potato & cheese substance...
Load More Replies...To be fair (slightly). I feel this might be a patient problem, in NHS hospitals you’re given a fairly big list of things to choose from. They hand the menu round each day and you pick what you want from it. 🤷♀️ This looks like she forgot to pick things to go with her potato (maybe she thought baked potato meant full meal).
I agree with you - I've been in hospital a few times in the UK and had plenty of choice and also perfectly fine meals. Also as a visitor when seeing family in hospitals they had really okay meals. Not denying you get rubbish at times but on the whole my experience hasn't been anything bad.
Load More Replies...For all those who think butter and cheese is bad for you - these are good fats, which is why the hospitals think nothing of serving them to people with heart conditions. It's the margarine that is really bad for you.
I was in hospital in York UK for 2 weeks. For lunch, everyday, we got dry crackers and a bit of cheese
2 dry crackers I hasten to add. I lost 3 stone

Potatoes with herbs, vegetables and a sausage with sauce. Looks ok to me
This is fine! Curry wurst, cheesy baked cauliflower(?), and herby potatoes. Yum!
Probably they just don’t like it. No reason to complain. In most Hospitals in Germany you can choose between 3 lunches. Dinner is worst: mostly a slice of bread and a slice of Mortadellas, if you’re lucky with some pickles on the side.
I could eat the cauliflower and brussel sprouts for sure, don't know what kind of wurst that is tho.
Hospital Vegetable Lasagne
Oh, so HERE'S the rest of that lasagne from the Adventist's hospital.

I Knew I Took This Picture For A Reason. Feast Your Eyes On My Hospital Breakfast In America
Big waffle, a hard boiled egg, a box of cereal, half pint of milk, I even see the little butter pats- guarantee there's also syrup and juice-some of these people in other countries are getting a slice of bread....I am American, so I can say it: Some Americans are so spoiled they have no clue.
You forgot the banana, and yes you are correct. This is better breakfast than I eat at home
Load More Replies...I can taste the sadness in this. I bet the waffle is floppy and yet dry, and the egg has a gray ring and dusty, pasty yolk. Ugh.
I'm A Cancer Patient In The Hospital. Instant Mashed Potatoes Mixed Into Chicken Broth
they told my mum they mash it to make it easier for people to digest , it takes energy to digest things and as you know people with cancer have less energy , chicken broth is great for you
That and the potato is the most nutriously complete food out there.
Load More Replies...Clearly wasn't that bad considering you ate it? Mashed potato and gravy is yum
I See Your Walmart Philly, And Raise You A Hospital Cafeteria In Philly
Yeah, I'd be kind of ashamed that you got that in Philly. That's really sad.
I don't get people complaining about cafeteria food - if you don't like it, don't eat it. Complain about the food they serve PATIENTS instead.
Hospital Omelet

Given how much they spend on their humanitarian prison system I believed Norway would do better
Suprised you got bread with dinner. One (dry boiled) potato would be more common. Or a spoon full of pasta or rice.

Overcooked broccoli and dry instant mashed potatoes. You are easy to please.

Hong Kong Hospital Food. The Same 4 Meals On Repeat For 3 Weeks
Sure probably gets boring, but at least this food looks edible and much nicer than most things on this list..
If there put in different sections or on in different containers its OK don'tcha know!
sounds more like prison food than hospital food , same thing day in day out just to piss you off a bit more
Well it is a hospital not a hotel...the food seems edible and healthy enough. Also it isn't the same thing, the meat is different every day.

US Hospital Food: Gourmet Baked Potato, Fresh Steamed Baby Carrots, And Fresh Fruit Cup. And Cranberry Juice. And That’s The Description On The Menu
with all the money you guys are paying for healthcare you'd think some of it would get spent on food.
God I hate to see the regular old dumpy baked potato. The shot glasses of cranberry juice are a nice touch, though.
A lot of these, as mentioned before by someone, are ordered by a dietician. Some of these could be all they could stomach due to medication or an imminent surgery with anesthesia. It may not be ALOT or look all that appealing but they are just fine. A hospital is there to assist people, not to get Yelp reviews.
They do get a plus for not having every little thing wrapped in tons of plastic and using real cutlery and real plate. Sadly, the potato looks like it IS plastic and I'm not sure there's anything 'fresh' in the possibly-steamed carrots.

Wow, Looks Like A Healthy Meal
LOL Just chemicals? Well I hate to let y'all know that OXYGEN is also a chemical. Yeah this food is horrid for sure and shouldn't be served in a hospital at all for any reason, but OH NO CHEMICALS is extremely ignorant. EVERYTHING IS A CHEMICAL
I'm sure a cancer patient on chemo would upchuck just at the sight if this. Come on use your heads!
Healthy, but horrible looking veg = bad Unhealthy, but yummy looking junk = also bad I feel like cancer treatment also involves a lot of "chemicals"
Hospital Breakfast In Australia. Day 3 In The Hospital And Only The Third Meal I've Had. They've All Been Jelly And Apple Juice

Looks good! I won't accept people whining about the NHS, go pay for private healthcare if you don't like it, or petition your local MP to stop the wasted money that goes to management and stupid surgeries
There's no reason for the NHS to be serving some of the terrible meals we've seen. The trust I'm in the food is excellent because they got a professional chef *and* people who are experts in large scale food production to work on the menu. I think I ate better in hospital than I do at home. It was good but also balanced and healthy.
Load More Replies...The problem with this one is that beans don't go with cottage pie. It clashes! Otherwise I bet each part tasted good.

Hospital Food At Its Best! Just What A New Mother Needs After A Long, Traumatic Delivery. This Is UK
Looks bland, but NHS food normally tastes ok (had a couple of hospital stays), and is meant to feed you, not look like they employ michelin star chefs

This one is great! You have a decent selection from all food groups! I'd be well chuffed with this!
This looks like a NHS meal. And the patient would have chosen this from a menu, unless they were only admitted that morning then they will get a choice of what the patients discharged that morning chose. And the patient will then choose their own meals from a menu for the next day.

School lunches on those green trays with sections! I loved that rectangular piece of pizza, mash potatoes, and chocolate pudding....

i know thats right. and i saw in a vid that after a mom gives birth the hosbital feeds the mother and takes car of the baby for you till you recover
Load More Replies...Wish I had made some pictures of the food I got, to show that hospital food isn’t that bad everywhere.
I agree. I had surgery last year in Belgium. The breakfast was similar to the one showed here and it was veey good. Four slices of bread, cheese and jam and coffee with milk.
Load More Replies...How many of these meals were taken by people on restricted diets? Just curious.
That’s what I’m wondering. Some patients have restrictions on sodium, fat, carbs, or sometimes even protein. The hospital food I had when I lost my baby son was pretty good, but when my mom had her protein and fiber intake restricted, she saw a number of sad naked potatoes.
Load More Replies...The really sad thing here is that these disgusting meals hint to a much geater, underlying problem: holistic healthcare. If hospitals would center on the patient, they would provide much more than treatments but create environment that foster health. This would include healthy meals. How can there be so much bad meat, so much salt, so much sugar? How can hospitals not follow the baseline advice from nutritionists that for example apply to schools and are yet way too lenient?
Exactly! It doesn't have to be complicated either, things like potatoes, whole grains, vegetables, beans, nuts etc. are not that hard to prepare or source
Load More Replies...In our small hospital in Ontario Canada back in the late sixties we had our own kitchen and staff that prepared meals. Pts got menus to choose what they wanted. Sure the meals were predictable if you were in for a long time. But most of the kitchen staff tried to make the meals presentable . If stuff was sent back to the kitchen uneaten a dietitian visited the pt. Now the food is trucked in heated up in the kitchen slopped on the plates and nobody cares if you eat or not. Its called progress folks.
I've spent a considerable amount of time in a psych ward in Cork, Ireland and the food was out of this world. The chef knew that mealtimes were the highlight of the day for us so really made the effort to make it great. I would have gladly paid for it in a restaurant.
I'm from South Africa on medical aid, I was at a private hospital, we were given menu's the presentation was nice, the food really tasty, and we had desert as well. They even asked how big a portion would you like.

Not excusing some of this junk, but when I was in hospital in Toronto, patients were given menus for all the next day's meals.Sometimes, I'd choose fries, a banana, and milk. It wouldn't make for a great picture or positive comments about hospital meals, but it wad entirely my choice. So maybe somechoices by patients here were 'just rice' or 'hzrd boiled egg and bread.'
Also several hospitals have fridges and pantries for the patients. When I had my last son I went in and there were arrowroot cookies, sandwiches, juices, jello, coffee and tea that the patients could have when they needed a snack.
