Eight minutes is most definitely not enough time to develop food poisoning. The shortest time would be around about 30 minutes, and more usual would be 2-3 days! Definitely not 8 minutes.

I always offer to clean up after my grandkids. They can't help it, dropping food is what toddlers do, but you can at least offer, apologise and thank the staff
