Like avocados? Like food art? Then you're going to love the unique art of Colette Dike. She's a food blogger and founder of the blog Food Deco, and there's literally nothing she can't do with the Mexican fruit.
While most of us just pound it for guacamole or slice it up and throw it into a salad, the Amsterdam-based food blogger turns those slices into intricate forms of edible art that look (almost!) too good to eat. From spirals to roses and even hearts, the carefully crafted fruit carvings create perfect centerpieces for her mouthwatering recipes.
"Avocados are delicious, healthy, and very photogenic!" Colette told Bored Panda. "I always enjoyed avocados but I think during my pregnancy I started eating them a little bit more. I like to inspire people for home-cooked meals - make their food a little bit prettier with not too much effort. Right now I’m really enjoying the #avocadobun but I also love to use avocado (as a dairy substitute) in brownies or power-balls!" Her Instagram account has over 73k followers and she's even released a book titled - you guessed it - Avocado. Take a look at some of her beautiful artworks in the pictures below.
