I don't think of any of those things as "conventionally attractive". A for the original post, I don't get it at all - why would anyone have an issue about finding somebody attractive? I don;'t see why there is any need at all to "deal with" it. Is there some sort of suggestion that women are so shallow and jealous that they would expect their partners to deny that anyone else in the world is attractive?

My wife and I know if there is someone that the other will find attractive and will often say so. A few years ago we were in a bar with friends and there was a magazine with an article on different types of men women find attractive. There were about ten pictures on seven or eight pages. So about 80 men. I said I could pick, on every page, the one who my wife would pick. I got every one right, including if there were two or three on the page. Friends thought we were weird.

Are you near a blue city? I'm in Chicago. The various neighborhoods and suburbs have organizations. I'm in my neighborhood's Indivisible chapter. We send volunteers up into purple areas of WI and MI to canvass, have the rapid response teams to swarm and video ICE if they are in our areas, flood our reps and senators with calls/emails on everything to oppose ICE and other Trump BS - which doesn't feel like much since Chicago is very blue. There could be some organization by you. Plus the protests. We are making small gains, its slow I know, but we all just do what we can.

I bought a couple of those bags that are made of super thin fabric that feels kinda plastic-y. They weigh pretty much nothing at all, and are sturdy enough to carry a whole bunch of groceries. When you roll them up, they take up pretty much zero room, so I just keep one in every coat and in every backpack. That way I will always have one on me.

I did it once and I loved every second of it. Here's what it was like for me: The free fall didn't really feel like falling, but more like floating in the air with a very strong wind blowing against me. Then, when the parachute opened, there was suddenly nothing but absolute silence, and it felt so peaceful, magical and relaxing. I was just hanging there in the air, taking it all in and didn't say a word, so the instructor I was strapped to actually asked me if I was dead. 😀 I just said "Noooooo, I'm just so happy".
