People tend to say that there’s no arguing about food. Everyone has different tastes and the world offers something for everyone’s needs. But when it comes to the best food, going to the US probably wouldn’t cross everyone’s minds as the country is most commonly known for its junk food. But this Australian girl documented her food journey in the US so well, it will make anyone fall in love and maybe even melt some of the hearts of those despising junk food at least a little bit.

After traveling for 16 hours from Queensland, Australia to San Francisco, starting her trip with an In-N-Out burger felt like just the right thing to do. Double-Double with animal sauce. Luckily, it was all worth the hassle as the Aussie commented that she “would fly 16 hours again for this burger”.

Despite having Krispy Kreme in Australia, she paid a visit to them in the US as well and did not regret it even one bit. “Gosh, they’re better here,” she said. “Selected was an original glaze, followed by a second original glaze.”

She felt it was worth throwing in a pic of herself enjoying a donut just to prove how good they actually were.

She was also beyond excited about those cute Chinese takeaway boxes: “chinese from Uber eats. It was delicious and came in the first little Chinese takeaway boxes I’ve eaten from. More excited about this than I should have been. Also, coffee mate in the background, how am I going to live without you at the end of this trip?”

She was hoping to have some lefovers from those Yosemite pizzas to attract raccoons. Sadly, it did not work quite as planned: “No leftovers. Probably why I didn’t see a Raccoon.”

Load More Replies...I think one of the things that I do like about my country (U.S) is that you have the option to try traditional foods from other countries all around the world. There are small family owned restaurants that bring in culture directly into the food and I god damn love it. Only problem is that ingredients here create relatively REALLY good tasting food because of additives that are normally illegal in other countries and not in the U.S. It's why the obesity rate is larger here than anywhere else. Not only do we not have time to make ourselves home cooked meals, but they add additives to make you want to eat more. It's an endless cycle. Still... we got some good a** grilled cheese sandwiches and quesedillas, highly recommend if you get them from the right place.
Yeah, and every part of america has their own food from other countries, like farming communities are going to have damn good Mexican food because of workers coming from there. In Seattle, we have really good Vietnamese and Teriyaki.
