The Australian Firefighters Calendar 2022 Is Out With More Shirtless Heroes And Adorable Animals (28 Pics)
Australian firefighters are doing God's work. And not only on but off duty as well. Continuing their tradition, the gang is releasing a charity calendar for 2022 to help animals in need.
In its 29th year, the Australian Firefighters Calendar has produced 6 editions: as always, everyone's favorite cats, dogs, horses, classic and mixed animal (featuring the country's wildlife) issues will be on offer. But to heat things up and for the first time ever, there is a Summer Edition calendar with firefighters enjoying the beaches and having fun in the sun. The inaugural version cover has been taken out by Australia's fittest firefighter Matt Haydon.
With such a long history of supporting important causes in the land down under, these heroes thought it was time to begin to take their efforts internationally. So the Australian Firefighters Calendar is teaming up with a well-known US-based organization, Greater Good Charities, and the sales of this year's calendar will support Greater Good Charities' Rescue Rebuild program, which helps to renovate animal shelters, domestic violence shelters, and homeless shelters to give a hand to mistreated pets and the people who care for them.

If you can tear your eyes away from the beauty in the picture, you will notice that the gentleman also has blue eyes.
"The Greater Good Charities are so excited to be partnering with the Australian Firefighters Calendar, we have been a huge supporter of their work through our social media channels for years now," Lesley Cave, the Director of Partnerships at Greater Good Charities, told Bored Panda in a statement. "This will be the start of a long-lasting partnership on charity projects across the US."
For the first time in its 29-year history, the calendar will be printed outside Australia for the US market. The calendars will be printed in Dallas, Texas, and distributed for US, Canadian, South American, and Asian supporters.
"The US has been such a huge supporter of the Australian Firefighters Calendar over many years now. We are so happy to be in a position to begin donating to US-based charities now and into the future. To be partnering with an organization as well respected as Greater Good Charities is the opportunity we have been waiting for. It was really important to us that the product was printed in the US by an American company, employing American workers. For the Australian Firefighters, it's really exciting to be involved," David Rogers, the Director at the Australian Firefighters Calendar, added.
Awwww ❤ It's on the tip of my tongue, but does anyone know what this animal is called? (Is it an echidna?)
The idea to take the iconic calendar to the US is the direct result of goodwill between the two countries. "[Australians will never forget] the overwhelming support from the American people ... when we suffered through the worst bushfires in recent memory," the folks behind the project said. "The money that was raised by our US fans went to support native Australian animals that were severely injured. One of the incredible local-based charities supported by the calendar donation was the Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital."
From humble beginnings 2 years ago, a handful of passionate veterinary surgeons and nurses came together to establish the hospital, and through the determination of the local community in Byron Bay, they were able to raise enough money to build Australia's first mobile wildlife hospital!
"The support the Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital received from the US was phenomenal and it continues to this day. The funds have enabled us to start building another mobile hospital to support our wildlife in the event of further wildfires," Stephen Van Mil, the CEO at The Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital, said.
The amazing thing is that the Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital is just one of the many native animal welfare establishments that the calendar will support again this year.

He has a baby duck!! He must be perfect. It takes skill to hold a baby duck, and to get one to trust you in that manner.

I would like it better if there was more variety in shape and age. (But I guess its just the male version of a pin up calendar where all the woman are also young and hot.)
But BP wouldn't dare share those pictures here, and that's the problem with this.

Load More Replies...No gender diversity. No racial diversity. No body size diversity. Why is this not being condemned? Personally, I don't care, but the clear hypocrisy is disgusting.
No gender diversity? Because the whole point of an erotic calendar is to please a precise audience, and bisexuals are not many enough, so it is always either all-male or all-female. No racial diversity? Yes there is, and as the firefighters are not racist, they won't sort people by race, so there are logically more white men because that's Australia. In Senegal, you would not complain that there are not enough white people, would you? That's just a logical coincidence. No body size diversity? Well, they are firefighters, so they are literally required to be fit or else they would not be able to do their job properly, and the whole purpose of that kind of calendar is to be arousing. You are the one being hypocritical.
