Update In Saga Of Aussie Dad Who Flew 15 Hours To Stop Daughter’s Adoption: Mom Speaks Out
A baby girl who was initially planned for adoption will now live under custody shared by her American mother and Australian father following a “traumatic response to pregnancy” and a disappointing journey across the globe.
Liv Pavlov announced on Wednesday (March 3) that she had a change of heart regarding her wish to put her newborn daughter Ana Rose up for adoption.
- Baby girl Ana Rose initially planned for adoption, will now be raised in shared custody by her parents.
- Liz Pavlov had a change of heart about adoption, expressing her love for her daughter on Instagram.
- Daniel Gaut, from Australia, traveled 15 hours to the US to prevent his daughter's adoption.
Taking to her Instagram account, she posted a carousel of three pictures featuring herself and her former Australian boyfriend and father to Ana Rose, Daniel Gaut, who had traveled from down under all the way to the US to prevent the adoption.
In the Instagram post, which also featured the baby girl, Liv declared her love for her daughter and that the “tides are always changing.”

She went on to reveal that after five weeks of being in Austin, Texas, where Liv is from, Daniel had to travel back to Australia, but that the couple would “regroup and work on [their] shared custody agreement so that [they] can have flow in [their] life this next chapter.”
Liv further explained: “After Ana was born I realized I was in a trauma response to pregnancy.
“Of course when we magically got a message to conceive Ana Rose we were both a yes and our stories about love and fantasy of family life kicked in.”

“In reality both of us struggled to connect and didn’t even know each other, having only spent a week together!”
The Texan explained that she returned to the US while pregnant because “things didn’t work” with Daniel, and “he couldn’t open his heart.”
She then clarified: “What’s clear after walking through the burning door of birth is I LOVE this girl and I am going to take care of her and give her a home and do my best with her from my life in Austin with my amazing community and my momma and family.”
Liz also shared that Daniel would be able to return to the US as a result of the money donated to the crowdfunding initially set up for him to travel to Texas to stop the adoption from happening.

Daniel, a carpenter from Sydney, was anticipating the birth of Ana Rose in his home country when his then-pregnant girlfriend, Liv, abruptly returned to the US alone.
Daniel, who lives in Berowra Waters, Sydney’s north shore, met and fell in love with Liv while vacationing in San Francisco, USA, in early 2023.
Liv didn’t want to part ways with Daniel, which is why she followed the carpenter home to Australia, where they agreed to have a baby.
“She was saying there’s nothing in Texas for me anymore, all my heart and energy is in Australia,” Daniel told the Australian outlet A Current Affair last month. “I was like ‘Great, that’s awesome. Let’s make this work.'”

The couple became inseparable in Australia, with Liv even being present to help Dan with his professional duties.
However, cracks started to appear in the relationship shortly after Liv’s pregnancy announcement.
31-year-old Liv returned to Texas, where she reportedly rekindled a relationship with a former boyfriend and subsequently announced that she would be putting Ana Rose up for adoption.
A crowdfunding appeal was consequently set up on Daniel’s behalf, which stated that Liv had agreed to legally hand the newborn girl over to her biological father if he flew to the US.
Liv received backlash, namely as a result of her lucrative business as a life coach, reiki master, and tantric healer, offering services including a $499 six-week self-study course called “F*** Like an Artist.”

After receiving support from numerous strangers, Daniel took a 15-hour flight to the US to be present for Ana Rose’s birth.
Liv gave birth while the Aussie was on the flight, but he was able to meet his daughter, who was born on Monday (February 26) at 8 pm Sydney time.
Shortly after his arrival in the US, Daniel was left fighting to be in his child’s life after learning that Liz wanted to be her primary caregiver.
“I feel heartbroken and empty as I’m forced to leave America alone. Liv has changed her mind and wants to keep Ana in the States and be her primary caregiver,” Daniel wrote on Instagram on Monday (April 1).
As per Liz’s latest social media updates, it would appear that Ana Rose will have both of her parents in her life after all.

Last night (Thursday, April 4), Liz posted another picture of herself and her baby girl, writing in the caption: “To become supernatural you have to do the thing that seems unnatural.
“When everybody else is in fear, that’s the time to show Courage.
“When everybody else is in lack, that’s the time to give.
“When everybody else is judging that’s the time to show compassion.
“Everyone else is hysterical, racing to the top, be calm and present. You’re already there.”

So, the backlash was hurting her business as "life coach" and she's doing a PR makeover. Gotcha
I feel like she is here for the spin and make herself look better. Any worthwhile judge should swing it his way - he's already proven himself to be the better parent. Meantime, I hope the kid is ok.
Unfortunately, in the US at least, it’s very hard for fathers to get full custody. But it is what would be best for the babe.
Load More Replies...This poor child is going to have a challenging life with that chaotic mother-- so many red flags.
I was reading her responses and thinking "WTF is this nonsense speak?" Get to the end and find she is a "life coach, reiki master, and tantric healer, offering services including a $499 six-week self-study course called “F*** Like an Artist.”" Seriously, just give the child to the father and go back to teaching people to f**k. Let the kid have a chance at a normal life.
