One of the features that make Tati MoonS' illustrations stand out is the inclusiveness of her art. The beautifully portrayed women represent different skin colors, shapes of the body, and even skin conditions such as vitiligo, which makes them appear so much closer to the real world. Women of color lack representation in art and Tati MoonS is making a change in her digital paintings. Looking at the illustrations, people who are insecure about their distinct features that might be considered as flaws by the "popular opinion" can find beauty and empowerment in each one of them.

Tati MoonS has developed her own unique style over the years. With attention to detail, her digital paintings look realistic and magical at the same. Just like astrology combines cosmic and personal, MoonS' illustrations have the same mysterious feel. And the precisely placed highlights make it look like these portraits glow from within.

Interestingly enough, you probably wouldn't be able to tell the artist didn't have any professional training in digital art and has learned everything she knows herself. On her website, she says art school wasn't for her, so she trained herself by watching videos, tutorials, time-lapses online, and analyzing other artists' artworks.

This is amazing :D the only problem is that people always associate Aquarius with water. They’re an air zodiac

MoonS wrote that in the beginning, she used to learn about accurate anatomy by doing exact side-by-side paintings with references. And although it takes away from freedom and creativity, it's an excellent learning technique. She still uses multiple references as a guide, but never "as something to copy."

The artist explained her work process: "I usually sketch with a pen on a notebook whenever I have a new idea. If I like it, then I would take my tablet and start sketching digitally. I just block my idea very roughly and start coloring and shading right after I have something visible. I do not follow any particular order tbh, I just go with the flow, if that makes any sense."

Leo is a Latin given name. It is usually a masculine given name and it comes from the Latin word leo which in turns comes from the Greek word λέων meaning "lion"

Tati MoonS' real name is Tatiana Luna, so the recurring subjects of astrology and astronomy in her artwork are pretty self-explanatory. Jokes aside, whether this is actually true or not, the appeal of astrology in the modern world is undeniable, so it also translates into art that thousands of people can enjoy and relate to. It seems like MoonS' ideas and inspirations correlate with trends and people's interests, so she was able to build a huge following on social media. Besides astrology and astronomy-related projects, MoonS' reimaginations of pop culture characters are a hit online. She's put her spin on the Powerpuff Girls, Frozen, Monsters Inc., and Winx Club, among others, and after posting the last Illustrations in the planet series, she is planning to continue with fanart. On her social media, she also shares remakes of her old paintings that show how much progress she's made, reimaginations of classical art, commission work, and other digital paintings (spoiler alert: she has even painted her cat as a lovely girl for its 2nd birthday), so make sure to follow Tati MoonS to keep up with the most recent updates.
