Art is a perfect way to communicate and highlight all the issues and problems that arise. It is also a means to open people's eyes and let them finally see things that were swept under the rug and not touched for the longest time.

German artist Steffen Kraft, also known as Iconeo, creates thought-provoking illustrations that enable one to self-reflect and to see the world from a different point of view. Bored Panda has shared his artworks with you pandas before (you can find them here). Since that time the artist created some more profound illustrations. His drawings are impressive and communicate important messages that come from observing our modern society. Which one is the most relatable to you?

It hurts to think of all the creatures who will suffer when they get tangled up in those masks that have been carelessly dropped the past couple years.

F*** these people!! I can't stand it when I see litter/garbage on the ground when I'm outside walking. Like c'mon, there are PLENTY of garbage cans around. ESPECIALLY here downtown!! Sickening.

I've been known to stop my car and make the passenger get out and pick up whatever they threw out the window!!!! There's a trash bag and an ashtray for a reason!!

The way my mom put it, WHEN I WAS 5 and understood, was what if instead of outside, everyone in the world went to your bedroom to drop a piece of garbage?

I saw someone throw out a coffee cup the other day on the street. They were literally right beside a bin 😡

Regardless of your standing in life, whenever I see someone litter I immediately assume they are ignorant and trashy.

"A little trash won't matter" said the oil Barron, watching his oil rig drill into the earth. "It's the consumers' fault for demanding the supply"

same happens here in Spain - locals expect that it's the work of the army of garbage men to clear the streets

The first time I saw a mask as litter the pandemic became real.

Annoying. Can't tell you how many times I've seen discarded masks as I walked across a parking lot.

Once when I was taking a walk with my brother we were taking our masks off and holding them until we got home and threw them away but when we took them off and held them this old lady behind us said “No no just throw it down” Like what the heck!? And my brother was like “uh what?” Then she said “throw it on the floor it’s fine” And she was WAY older than us so he did not want to be rood so he put it on the sidewalk! And when she walked pass us and was in front my brother ran back up and picked it up. It felt so good to know that my brother hade some sense in him. But I can’t believe an old lady would do that .

It's not just litterbugs, landfills too. So that's the bigger problem the world is facing. Or avoiding, depending on your local policies and procedures. (Just trash it)

Exactly why I buy in bulk using refillable containers/bags as often as possible, from dry goods to laundry detergent. It's a little more expensive, but it's worth it to keep bottles and bags out of the landfill. Granted I haven't been doing that in the age of covid, because I haven't been going into stores, but I plan to resume as soon as possible, once my kids get their vaccines. In the meantime, I reuse as much as possible, recycle whatever can be, and try to minimize waste anywhere I can.

Then don't. Make something. Invite people over. Give people experiences than a bunch of stuff they could buy themselves.

My policy is to do maintenance messages. Just go down the list of people and anyone you haven't messaged for over a month, send one asking after them.

It would make a big difference. If you are somewhere with no public transport - or sketchy P.T., then really, you need one. I mean, your spouse is having a heart attack, and you know ambulance will take like an hour to get there, you need a car. Ditto if you have a job interview. PT will never get you to a job interview on time.
