I start my leaf art in 2012. This art for me is about seeing! it is not just make a beautiful work. I believe one of the most important responsibilities of the artists is to make others see or create new ways to see the hidden aspects. We are surrounded by visual pollution and ads which they bombard our visions. We are used to see the most colorful, most expensive or most flashy products all around. I would like to work on something which we may look at them every day and it’s important but we don’t pay attention to and leave is one of them.

Omid Asadi is an Iranian Manchester based Artist. His practice is versatile and concerns many acute issues in contemporary society, like identity, the individual against the satate, kindness, war, cruelty and mercy. He works in performance, sculpture, installation, video and performance. But he first became know for his intricate leaf cuts since 2012, that are extremely delicate and fragile, but also strong in message.

Vėjūnė Rimašiūtė

Vėjūnė is a community manager who helps artists all over the world introduce their artwork to Bored Panda readers and in that way, become more popular. Since she was always fascinated by the art world, she studied Culture Management and Cultural Policy at Vilnius Academy of Arts where she expanded her knowledge about it. Now she's using all this knowledge to showcase its beauty and help others dive into the fascinating world of art.
