30 “Anxious Animals” Comics That Perfectly Sum Up The Struggle Of Anxious Thoughts (New Pics)
If animals could stop, reflect on their lives and talk, they would tell us that some things make them anxious just as much. Maybe in the future, who knows?
But for now, we would like to reintroduce you to the talented artist Amee Wilson, who creates funny and relatable animal comics called “Anxious Animals”. These animal problems will probably remind you of those awkward-yet-funny moments that have happened to you too.
Amee's comics have been featured on Bored Panda before, so don't miss out on part 1 as well.

When I get overwhelmed and know it’ll last a while, fighting that battle becomes painful…
Even though lockdown is remembered as a sad, depressing, and overall bad period in our lives, a lot of great things were born due to our boredom and loneliness. One of those things is Amee’s new comic series: Anxious Animals.
Amee is a well-known artist in our Bored Panda community through her other comic Queer Chameleon, and we are happy to see her other passion projects come to life.

Load More Replies...When talking about the birth of this comic series, Amee shared: “I was stuck in lockdown in Australia and feeling pretty anxious (like the rest of the country). And so I started drawing how I was feeling but spoken by animals. It kinda made the feelings feel a bit less dark! And people just started responding really positively so I just kept making them. I think everyone is just feeling all the same things, but they're hard to talk about!"
These comics are comparatively a young project, but it has already received positive feedback and gained a solid following on Instagram. In the future, Amee hopes that these comics could turn “into a small book or little postcards so people could share them.” That doesn’t seem far-fetched as she has already published a book with her Queer Chameleon comics.
Amee is absolutely creative and insightful, with a unique perspective that makes her work so magnetic and instantly likable. If you feel the same way, don’t forget to support her by following her work on social media. And if you haven’t seen comics with Queer Chameleon yet, see her posts on Bored Panda here: part 1 and part 2.
There's cheese! Shall we comment her name lots of times to see if we can summon her?

I def know that.. My sister used to get angry and yell at me when I cried, yelling "Suck it up, sunflower!" and stuff like that. So i had to hide when i needed to cry. And she def wasn't the only one..

I would be absolutely elated to be able to fly at will! That would actually solve a lot of my problems, to be honest!
Okay, so you go to Mexico, then sleep for like a month and when you wake up you fly for a bit lay eggs and die

Gotta love how people want to blend in but simultaneously admire those who stand out
They probably admire those who have the courage to. Blending in isn't really wanted, but it feels much safer

Never wanted to blend in. Just wanted to be left alone to be myself I think.
Just give us some time to unpack and sort it all, okay working world?
Me. I am super cuddly and I often freak out like this when I'm hugging my brother or something
Oh. So that’s why my dog won’t let me have the stick. He doesn’t trust me with it! 😭
Always think of yourself as the unit of measurement. Then you would neither be fast nor slow. You would just be.
I can't sleep. I may never sleep again. Blanche Deveraux, Golden Girls
Easy to say by someone who isn't carrying that weight. A donkey doesn't choose to carry all that. It is put their by people in charge of the donkey, and they beat the donkey if it refuses. The donkey CANNOT say NO. It's easy for people to say "don't be sad" to someone who is depressed, but never in the history of the world has that helped the depressed person. Maybe what the gray donkey SHOULD say is "you don't have to carry all that BY YOURSELF. I'll help."
Okay, don't take this as a harassment but, why do always have donuts at the end of your comments. (I love it just asking)

I miss him cause we had him before I was even born. I carry him around all the time though because while I was a baby and he was a puppy, and my brothers were just born and brought home, he freaked out and bit my face leaving some scars... I really miss him. (His name was Homer, short for Home Run) my grandparents had puppies and named him that and gave him to us.)
Awwww guys, a lot of people are here, let's raise awareness to the rhinos!
Its absolutely horrible and deplorable the way they harvest shark fins and for what....some archaic belief that it's good for you.
Aww! I can’t tell if it’s a whippet or a greyhound, but I love it either way.

Load More Replies...Don't worry. It's the boop bomb. There is a tiny human in the box who pops and and gives the dog a boop. Unfortunately, these tiny humans are very obsessive over dogs so they embrace the dog. The dog is worried because he is an introvert and does not like hugs. He is testing the child bomb.
