As an introvert this hurts because it’s true

Once again, they don't know what being an introvert is. Introverts can be chatty. It's not synonymous with being a quiet person.

People are actually "born" introverted or extroverted. If born extroverted people can turn introverted due to trauma. This is important to understand and know as a mother or primary caregiver 👨‍🍼 🙏 as you want to be able to attune to your child's needs and not have them attune to yours. Sadly often then not it happens too much. 😔 This is why good therapy is so important. In the very beginning ✨️. Babies can sense trauma in the womb from their mother's.. like rejection.

I believe shyness and introversion are simply the fear of people. Staying quiet should be safe, but boy, people do love criticising the shy. They're too dumb to realise it's their fault and they're making it worse.

I became introvert in my last ten years bcoz I developed severe anxiety and OCD and now everything is such an energy sucker.
