I have a 2017 Chevy Volt plug-in hybrid; meaning it has an electric engine and a small gas engine. When I bought it in 2019 it got 60 miles of electric. Now it gets about 30. You can't buy a new PHEV that has more than 35 miles of electric. Electric car batteries are the only technology that gets worse with science. But it sure does encourage buying more cars. Thanks Corporation.

This is the one example of a corporation doing something that technically benefits people in addition to their shareholders and customers.

When you need a truck, but don't have 'inadequate downstairs issues'.

This is pic is very misleading. The large truck in the back is actually the "normal" sized truck. The small truck in front is a small compact truck. The capabilities and uses of both vehicles is quite different. Not to mention that they don't make that small truck anymore lol.

We've been getting more of these "wide-body" trucks here...and the thing is...a lot of people 1. can't maneuver or park these trucks, 2. the parking spaces are regular sized but they always want to park closest to the door and take up several spaces, 3. barely fit on our narrow roads and 4. look ridiculous being driven by people who will never go off-road or even use the tray.

I have an automatic (ha ha) hate for everyone in big trucks, gigantic SUVs or tuned sports cars outside of some profession that makes it useful. I even once lost interest in a guy i dated after I saw his big a*s car...

Bed lengths are almost identical. I miss my tiny Ford Ranger! I think I hauled more stuff in it than my neighbor, who has a monster of a 5-passenger truck. I've only ever seen him and his wife ride in it.

We actually NEED a big truck like that for our farm, but they're so expensive we can't afford one.

We have a truck that is between those two sizes. We do a lot of truck things living in the woods. Having a truck here is part of the culture as well. Having them if you live in a large metropolitan area seems, unnecessary. But hey, I don't know your life. Maybe you do truck things on the weekend. It's not the size that matters but the power within if you do, in fact, do truck things.

Bigger trucks, especially diesels are made to pull things such as trailers. You won't be pulling anything with that tiny thing.

I have never understood why anyone would want one of these. Not only incredibly ugly, but cumbersome - ever seen a d******d take one of these to the supermarket and take up two spaces? - planet killing and expensive to run. There's no logic to it.

If you don't drive the biggest one, people at home depot will mock you.

You can thank the tax system for that, to avoid car tax manufacturers had to supersize their trucks therefore negating the purpose of the tax legislation to begin with.

FYI - The bed lengths are the same.

And look at the truck bed size, still the same! I hate the giant monsters on the road now. I drive and older small car, and I almost get hit on a weekly basis. They're too big to see smaller vehicles!

Everytime I see a guy driving a big truck , or an overly loud motorcycle I think he is over compensating for a small d*ck.

I realize picking up garbage isn't a dream job for most, but it's a start to get them food, a place to stay and be able to look at other jobs that won't see them as "homeless" but as actual "potential employees"

Our city has a paint place like that. Usually enough for a landlord to paint a house purple with green trim. and another one yellow with orange trim.

We had a couple of decades to fix the crisis in the 70's. (Thanks Reagan /s) A decade or so to mitigate the crisis in the 90's or not hit any tipping points. Now we have a 'decade' to keep the crisis from becoming 'too bad'
