Some animals live in packs, some wander alone but all of them need a little love. So much so, that sometimes they decide to visit humans to say 'hi'. Bored Panda has collected pictures of some of the most unexpected animal visits that humans had which prove friendships are universal and not bound by the number of legs.
From a raccoon chilling on a porch, to an owl at a Super Bowl party - these animals seek human companionship just as much as we seek theirs. It's nice to know that despite our industrial attempts to screw up nature some creatures still believe that deep down we're all of the same kind. I use to live out in the woods. I miss the deer so much. We had one mama who came back every year to chill in our yard while she was pregnant. I came out one day and she was skinny and I asked her "where is your baby" she stepped forward and a pair of babies were staring back at me! That was the first time she had 2. We gave the new mama lots of veggies and apples

AMAZING how cats just don't ask for permission. They come in and BAM they own the place!
Sneaky little bastards! But you gotta love them!! :)
Load More Replies...literally finished looking at this thinking how weird all these cats invite themselves in when my husband comes home and a cat walks in!
How come I only get visited by big scary spiders? Oh that's right I live in Australia ;-)
Dammit, I totally read that in a Tweety Bird voice XD
Load More Replies...Sure are a lot of people who "don't own a cat" that find a cat randomly in their home... not saying their lying or anything, just never realized how often it (seems to) happen lol
We had a cat move herself in. She lived with us for 7 years then moved out again. We found out that she'd moved in with a lady down the road.
Load More Replies...where do these people live? i want to move there. right now! cause when we hear a knock on the door, it's usually some weird guy trying to sell vacuums during siesta!
Those pictures are very cute and worth seeing :) However a request to all who read/watch/take pics of animals - please be aware that some of them are actually really wild animals, that 1. can attack you, 2. can carry rabies (foxes especially), 3. might be scared and needing help (like the owls at home), 4. can easily get used to you and your acceptance and become pests (like racoons). I'm not saying all will, but just perserve reasoning and at least some distance ;)
Technologically we are now able to discover, and pass along, so many examples of animals acting like little people. Its totally changing how we look at the animal kingdom. And once the synthetic meats industry ramps up, there will be more pressure to look at them as something other than a food source. And that's a real Positive thing.
If a cat finds you, and is well fed, friendly and healthy there is every chance someone, somewhere is looking for their missing pet. Take it to a vet and get it scanned for a chip, then you will know for sure. If a cat has a shock it can forget where it lives, you might find your stray comes from just a few streets away.
I can not believe how folks are so comfortable handling raccoons ans opossums.
Really cute <3 but 110% # 90 is not homeless.. he is a Persian and clearly accidentally got outside. If you took him in and you read this you have to give him back to his owners. He would have been expensive and by the looks of his coat very very well loved xxx
Where do these people live? They're so close with nature, I want to move there!
Secondly, if you've ever had the opportunity to feed a hungry animal, you have been rewarded n blessed by nature.
