My name is Dusan Krtolica, I am 16 years old and I live in Serbia. Drawing is my greatest passion, and I find my inspiration in nature. I am mostly fascinated by animals and their great diversity, as well as their amazing ability to adapt to living in many different environments.

I started drawing when I was 2 years old. To this day, I had 6 solo exhibitions and participated in many TV shows where I talked about my work. When I was 13 years old I wrote and illustrated an encyclopedia of the prehistoric world, which has been published in my country. My book has already been translated into English and I am still looking for a new publisher.

There is a huge interest in my work, so I am selling my drawings across the world. What I am most happy about is that all my customers also became my friends.

I had a cousin like him. A pencil and a napkin. I watched him draw a portrait quality likeness in five minutes with a pencil on a freaking napkin in a restaurant. He loved art.

I love how you can see the yellowed version of the gentleman on the horse he did at 10 framed in the background of the pic at 13. Great work. The butterfly with the industry on his dissolving right wing is stunning, such a strong message.

Some people know quite early their path in life (their dharma or Tao), or are very aware of their talents. You area fine example of that. Very skilled work.There is a therory that one has to put in 10,000 hours to master something like music or art. I think you are well on your way to that. it will be interesting to see if your art changes a bit if you go to art college.

I went to school with a girl who was an amazing artist. She had a job guarantee from Disney as an animator after she graduated (her dad had connections). You are great at it, I love all the details you add. Have you ever considered getting a graphic tablet? You could scan the lineart and add color easily with the graphic tablet (if you set the lineart layer as multiply the colors will stay under the lines), I bet your art would look amazing with some colors.And you learn very fast, I can't wait to see your art in a couple of years! Keep up the good work!

Try to start using some correction white on the light spots in eyes, it will really make them pop. Very good for your age, will be interesting to see when you come into your own some more. Just some helpful critiques, they are a little flat, try working some more grey tones in as well as white. Keep up the good work, this is tons better than the garbage they have in galleries!

I had a cousin like him. A pencil and a napkin. I watched him draw a portrait quality likeness in five minutes with a pencil on a freaking napkin in a restaurant. He loved art.

Some people know quite early their path in life (their dharma or Tao), or are very aware of their talents. You area fine example of that. Very skilled work.There is a therory that one has to put in 10,000 hours to master something like music or art. I think you are well on your way to that. it will be interesting to see if your art changes a bit if you go to art college.

I went to school with a girl who was an amazing artist. She had a job guarantee from Disney as an animator after she graduated (her dad had connections). You are great at it, I love all the details you add. Have you ever considered getting a graphic tablet? You could scan the lineart and add color easily with the graphic tablet (if you set the lineart layer as multiply the colors will stay under the lines), I bet your art would look amazing with some colors.And you learn very fast, I can't wait to see your art in a couple of years! Keep up the good work!

Try to start using some correction white on the light spots in eyes, it will really make them pop. Very good for your age, will be interesting to see when you come into your own some more. Just some helpful critiques, they are a little flat, try working some more grey tones in as well as white. Keep up the good work, this is tons better than the garbage they have in galleries!
