After many years of rescuing, fostering, and vetting animals that are unwanted, abandoned, on death row or in need of a second chance, we are finally working on becoming a licensed animal rescue. We help animals no matter the species, age, color or gender. We believe all animals deserve a second chance and a forever home.

Our local animal kill shelter adds new animals to the euthanasia list each day. There are many older dogs, puppies, and kittens. Our local shelter also kills all kittens under two pounds which means all litters, bottle babies, and neonates. Any animal with a sign of illness such as a cold, worms, cough, etc. are also euthanized even if they’re easy to treat.

After seeing so much pain, neglect, and torture, we decided to quit saying we were going to start a rescue one day and decided to take action and step towards the rescue every day. We already became incorporated and are a 501(C)(3) Non-profit. Now, we need property and our shelter license.

We hope our story gets shared and seen around the world. We hope it gets people to stand up for animals that can’t stand up for themselves. We hope it helps us raise funds so we can continue to save lives.

We hope to raise enough funds to be able to become established and help more animals. Our goal is to give animals Another Day, Another Chance, A New Life.

This is a litter of kittens whose mom was abandoned once her owners found out she was pregnant.

This is Freya. She was left at a vet’s office when her owner no longer wanted her.

This is Chloe, abandoned and used for breeding. She got a second chance and is loving her forever home.

These two kittens were found in a taped-up box on the side of the road. Both with worms and fleas. Alice and Tetch are now living life to the fullest and will never have to worry about being dumped again.

This is Skips. He was found malnourished, with broken teeth, fleas, ear mites and deep wounds from catfights. He was completely vetted and is now doing behavior training.

This is Willow. Willow was found outside under a house. Because it was very hot outside and her mother had not returned to get her, she was given to us. As of 7/17/19, she is being bottle-fed, When she is old enough, she will be vetted and adopted out.

This is Cricket. Cricket was surrendered to us after she got pregnant with her second litter. Half of her first litter passed away and her owner decided it was in her best interest if she was surrendered.

This is Kai. Kai was surrendered to us on November 12th, 2017. He was first being sold as a healthy, happy ferret needing a new home. After I contacted the current owners asking them to tell new owners that he needed to go to the vet immediately, they wanted to give him to me so he can get vetted and get the care he needed. I brought him to the vet where he was diagnosed with adrenal and insulinoma cancer, both cancers aren’t curable but can be lived with comfortably and pain-free when on treatment. Kai lived pain-free with other ferrets until July 29th, 2018 when he passed away. An amazing woman that supported Kai and donated towards treatment along his journey also paid for his cremation.

This is Atlas Reed. Atlas was found when he was just a little kitten. He was vetted and is now in a forever home.

This is Honey Badger. Honey Badger was found under a shed in a heavy storm. Along with his two siblings, they were bottle-fed and all found forever homes. Honey Badger was actually adopted by one of my family members.

I provided "Penny" with a forever home today. She was in the county shelter as an owner surrender due to a housing issue. She is a gorgeous young kitty and will have a happy, healthy life with me and my small "Kingdom of Queens", (my other 3 are all rescues). Blessings to you for starting a shelter to provide for these foundlings and having a safe place for them to recover, heal and start their new lives

A comment about this post now! My cats are kinda just cats we stole from the streets and Walmart parking lots and stuff like that. But anyone who surrendered an animal because of old age can burn.

Poor Kai Kai :( Unfortunately, insulinoma and adrenal cancer is not uncommon in ferrets.

I literally used to own two ferrets but one died and it made me so sad and then we found out that I'm allergic to ferrets which I must be cursed because you know what torture that is? My cute little girl and I can't touch her without my eyes looking like puffer fish but I still love her, I had to give her to my mom but she loves her every time I see her I wanna cry because it's like, I can't be with her, I can't be a true family to her like I abandoned her it's so hard I just wanna give her a hug and fall asleep with her in my arms. One day I'll be able to again even if my eyes blow up and I get asthma or something crazy I don't care I'm gonna do it I'll bathe her first to make it less of a reaction. And lots of meds allergies suck.

At least she got a good home. We had a rabbit for many years who came to us for that reason - one of my husband's relatives developed an allergy to her. She lived to be 11, after 8 years of being spoiled rotten.

Where are you? I am in Columbus Ohio and would happily help foster the Weezy babies (ferrets). I have 37 years experience as a ferret mum.

Thank you for your generosity, kindness, and love for animals. They certainly don't deserve to be treated the way that so many are. People who throw away pets because they are an inconvenience or people who abuse animals will all be together some day, because I am certain there is a special circle of hell just for them. Just as I am certain that people such as yourself, who save these poor animals, will be welcomed into heaven or welcomed by the universe with open arms. Thank you again for caring,

Check your local state/county laws. Some don't require you to have land or buildings. It can be costly depending on where you're located, but the first steps are to become a non-profit then go for your shelter license. Or volunteering /working for a local shelter is very rewarding.

Don't be so sure that someone abandoned the ferret at the vet. My cousin took a kitten he found to the vet for shots because he intended to keep it but instead of giving the kitten just the shots, the vets decided to take the liberty of running a bunch of tests that my cousin didn't ask for "just to be sure" and what should have been about $75 ended up being inflated to over $300. My cousin couldn't pay the inflated price and the vet refused to give the kitten back without payment so my cousin was forced to leave the kitten.

Your website and FB page lists zero animals for fostering or adoption. Zero stories about animals you've helped or other charities you work with including vets etc. You're only hurting legit charities by asking for money when you're obviously not legit and/or not prepared to operate a rescue. If you really care about animals you will do things correctly. Thanks.

Hello, We are still establishing our facebook page and website. As we stated in our article we are still becoming established. We are a legitimate 501(c)(3) charity and rescue (EIN listed on our website). And as animals are fully vetted they become available for adoption, A few of the animals shown in the article were from the previous year. Animals are posted up for adoption through our website and locally when they are fully vetted. Thank you for voicing your concerns.
