Nature is already quite majestic, but did you know, that wombats have almost perfectly cube-shaped poop? Or that kiwis are practically blind and forage mainly by smell? And, believe it or not, axolotls can regrow lost limbs and even grow new ones! Nature is just full of surprises and weird animal facts.

Bored Panda has chosen a few of the more unexpected animal facts, with which you can definitely blow your colleagues' minds. Just be sure to remember at least one of them in the time of need. And if you thought that human life is rather complex, then after checking these illustrations and animal trivia compiled by A. Stiffler and K. Copeland in a series called Nature is Magic, you might just think otherwise.

Don't forget to check their website called ChaosLife for more fun facts about animals!

For anyone who interest why! 'Wombat poo is cubic, not because the wombat has a square-shaped a**s, but because it has a very long and slow digestive process, typically 14 to 18 days, which allows the digestive matter to become extremely dry and compacted. The wombat also has a very long digestive tract, allowing it to absorb the most nutrients and water from its food. The first part of their large intestine contains horizontal ridges that probably mould the poo into cubes, whereas the last part of the large intestine is relatively smooth, allowing the cubic shape to be maintained. The highly compacted nature of the poo means that the r****m is unable to contour the poo into the more usual tubular shape.

I actually know this from Fibbage. That was a funny question. The game was just like "what shape is wombat poop in?"

It happens in humans, too, but suggests that you might add a little fiber to your diet.

How does that work? You take the butterfly on a binge weekend and ask it to choose between flower juice and blood?

City dwelling birds can be really good at imitating sounds, I got fooled by a magpie into believing that there was a kitten stuck on a tree. And it happened to some of my friends as well.

That's because they are basically made of stem cells - they are stuck in a biological development limbo (think puberty). If they are injected with iodine, it actually resumes their ontogeny and they become a salamander.
