I paint what the future could look like; I aim is to increase awareness of global warming and that we need to act now. By painting famous landmarks around the world, I hope to make the viewer think and make changes, however small.
I describe the paintings as a utopia in dystopia because in each painting, the wildlife has recovered from our actions and flourishing, often in new locations.

Great White Commuter
London will flood, as will the underground. Many ocean species of mammals, fish and other creatures are moving due to warming oceans. There have already some species of sharks found in the Thames, though not great whites- yet.
Angel Of The North
The iconic Angel of the North has frozen. Now surrounded by icebergs, the polar bears have ice once more. Narwhals are swimming by 1 lucky female, with 4 males.
New New York
A polar bear and brown bear ride a shipping container, headed for a new home, whilst the orangutans have made their new home on top of the Statue of Liberty.
This reminds me of: "You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!" - Charlton Heston as George Taylor (Planet of the Apes /1968) .
Farewell Liberty
Lady Liberty prays as a tidal wave is about to wash her away. Sea levels are rising, as is the increasing number of storms.
100 Million And 1 - Tate Modern
100 million sharks are killed annually worldwide, including 1 killed for #damienhirst. London's underwater, the sharks have moved in, and the pickled shark is looked on by his fellow sharks.
The Kelpies, Falkirk
The Kelpies are becoming sea kelpies as a huge wave sweeps over them. Under the surface is a Greenland shark, which can live for around 400 years if not caught and pickled in Greenland.
Drive Through The Golden Arches, London
I painted a London bus after it had hit McDonald's golden arches. A polar bear floats by on a container from a sunken ship. In the background is Big Ben after the London floods. Under the surface, lots of creatures have moved into the warmer waters, including a dugong.
Piccadilly Circus
A polar bear is peeing on a coca-cola sign- coca-cola is the number 1 plastic polluter. An elephant escaped from the zoo and has gone for a swim, whilst turtles now feed on seagrass on the bottom of the once busy streets of London.
