The AP debunked this. Apparently it got added to a Greenpeace New Zealand IG post, and a few hundred thousand people took screenshots and started spreading it around before they got a correction up.

I thought that photo was fake but then I googled biggest wombat and holy c**p. They are not all that big but many are in the ballpark.
