Shopper Is Praised For Seeking Revenge On Woman With Full Cart Who Wouldn’t Let Her Skip Line
Revenge is best served cold, but instant gratification can also sometimes do the trick, as exemplified by a woman who pulled a prank in a grocery store in response to a slow customer. Because really, who has the patience to wait for someone to unload their massive monthly food supplies when you’ve got only one item to scan? Certainly not this woman.
- Mandy Watson's viral video showed her hiding toilet paper as revenge for not being let ahead in line.
- The video, detailing her prank at an Aldi store in the UK, amassed 2.1 million views.
- Mandy intended to purchase only milk and had to wait in line behind a shopper with "hundreds" of items.
Mandy Watson, from Scotland, UK, took to her TikTok page on March 22 to expose the elaborate way she found to get payback for being forced to stay behind a customer who, according to Mandy, had hundreds of items in line at an Aldi’s cashier counter.
In a video, which has since gone viral, amassing 2.1 million views, Mandy revealed that she only wished to buy a single item of milk and, therefore, asked if she could go in front of the big purchaser in a bid to avoid having to wait longer than necessary at the checkout.

Unfortunately for Mandy, the Aldi customer refused, triggering a rather mischievous side from the TikToker, who subsequently hid a universally known necessity.
In her video, Mandy filmed the checkout line facing the back of the customer, adding a text that read: “The lovely lady with 100 items in Aldi who wouldn’t let me go in front with only milk… hope you don’t have diarrhea when u get home I hid your bog roll under the counter.”
The video then cut to a clip of the important item in question, hidden somewhere under the cash register.

For those who are unfamiliar with the term “bog roll,” it is a colloquial term, primarily used in British English, for toilet paper.
Mandy’s cheeky reprisal prompted viewers to be quite amused, as a TikTok user commented: “You should never put ideas in my head I’m bad enough as it is and this kind of trickery doesn’t help my situation,” to which Mandy replied: “Lol I’m the same doesn’t take much like ha ha.”
Another person wrote: “I would have added condoms and incontinence pads to her shopping,” which Mandy approved of, revealing: “I’ve done this in Tesco put condoms in my cousins shopping then videoed his face when he tried saying they weren’t his.”
Mandy, who is Scottish, joked that she hoped “the lovely lady” in front of her wouldn’t get diarrhea

The lines of shopping etiquette can sometimes be blurred. The specific issue of letting someone skip the line if they have fewer items has often been debated online, as shown in a thread on Quora.
A popular response to the Quora question asking, “Is it common courtesy to let someone skip in the grocery line if they have fewer items?” saw a man affirming that it was indeed courtesy, but that it shouldn’t be common practice.
The Quora user wrote: “If I’ve got two carts full of groceries and have been in line for thirty minutes because this F*****G KROGER CAN’T OPEN MORE THAN TWO LANES AT ONCE EVEN THOUGH IT’S FOUR F*****G— Sorry…where was I?”

“Right, look, if I’m in a rush and have been waiting a while, it’s completely acceptable for me to keep my place in line.
“It’s also completely acceptable if I choose to let the person behind me with half a basket go ahead of me.
“This isn’t like other ‘common’ courtesies.”

“Holding a door open for someone, letting someone ahead of you in a merge lane, letting someone know that they dropped something, those are, and should be, daily occurrences that we all reflexively do.
“Letting someone with fewer groceries slip in front of us in line should not be demanded or expected.
“It should be a nice treat when the person in front has the time to spare.”
Mandy’s prank prompted various reactions on social media

Watching people cheer this entitled idiot on, really scares me how they younger gen deal with petty problems.
Load More Replies...I let people cut in line. people let me cut in. It's kind, but cutting in line when you have fewer or next to none items is not a right you've got when entering a store. You can ask, you can offer, but that's it. I see no reason for petty revenge when you got denied. Just swallow it down and accept your place in the line (or return the stuff and leave if you can't wait)
That's where the OP is a completely entitled jerk. It is a favor to let someone cut ahead, not a requirement. But the OP is the main character and heaven forbid they have to wait in line like the rest of us.
Load More Replies...What, no poll? Imagine a shopper feeling so entitled to your place in line that they hide your items, it must be similar to the two thousand unswapped airline seats on these pages.
