Airbnb And Pantone Create “Outside In” House In London To Help People Fight The Winter Blues

Airbnb and Pantone have partnered to create a unique space which brings the outdoors, inside. The ‘Outside In’ house, inspired by Pantone’s colour of the year (Greenery), is designed to encourage visitors to embrace 2017 with fresh optimism, perfect timing after a bleak 2016.

The space features an impressive woodland reception, an indoor greenhouse that doubles as a dining room, garden bedroom with mown lawn, topiaries and soporific plants, a tented cubby-hole for children to sleep in and a herb garden kitchen.

You can actually book to stay overnight in the Outside In house from 27-29 January. Visitors can also join in on a number of nature-inspired experiences including terrarium making, Tai Chi classes, wallpaper painting and others.

Even if I like the idea of indoor forest...Nothing ever got more appropriate to define greenwashing than this :D

Agreed. And as it is portrayed it is impossible to get all those plants to grow, without the necessary light. I suspect all this was temporarily added for the photos, and then removed to other places where the plants be allowed to prosper.

Took it as an ad to promo BOTH Airbnb and Pantone. Then I went an dug this up - "The design and the focus of house was on Pantone's 15-0343 Greenery — the company's color pick for 2017." - - AND THIS - - "The color specialist (Pantone) firm has worked with the online home-stay network (Airbnb) to list the newly revamped central London home. lol - End of Story

I absolutely loved it....an active introverts dream...but as you say 95% would just die....it was only open for three nights bookings, so not much hope of a stay....
