Maybe it's meant to be a futuristic take on it, or something, but yeah... I'd rather see their natural eyes. Brown eyes, hazel eyes, etc are beautiful, they should be celebrated in a society which praises European-like pale blues and green, above all.

yeah because vampire eyes are so western? I reckon the contact are part of the concept and they work well with the futuristic&traditional ensemble.

cultural appropiaton in creative contests..has no real place. You can pay tributes aka show your respect to several cultures through your work but hair is a medium used to present your ideas, the models are just part of the presentation ( just like fashion models- their appearance doesn't matter. The fashion creations are the focus hence why models are required to be skinny af- they're like those dolls in shopping windows. Everyone knows they're there but they don't really matter)<my opinion. If people want cultural appropiation, do albinos have a place then? They don't look african with their pale skin. :^) :^) *takes this with a pinch of salt*
