Maine coon cats are, without a doubt, the most majestic cat breed that has ever existed - their luxurious fluffy coats, fine physique, and character traits are what makes them so unique. And if fully grown Maine cats are exceptional, then wait until you see their cute kittens! These kitty cats have all the extra fuzz that a cat can have and more.
This big cat breed's history of origin is unknown, though its ancestors most likely came with the ships of 11th-century Norsemen. When fully grown, these fluffy cats can weigh up to 18 lb (8.2 kg) and reach a body length of 48 in (120 cm). Maine coons are perfectly adapted to live in harsh climates - their shaggy coats keep them warm, and their huge paws make it easy to walk on snow. These impressive felines are not your typical lap cats - coons are affectionate without being clingy and, because of their higher intellect, are easily trainable.
We here at Bored Panda have compiled a list of the most adorable Maine coon kittens because there can never be too much of cute baby kittens, right? Especially as sweet, as fluffy and as beautiful as the Maine coons are. Now scroll down below, vote and comment!

Maine Coons are beautiful, but please adopt the none adorable kittens. they have a hard time finding homes.
My cat Butter and his siblings as kittens. Butter's the black and white one with the mustache. He's four years old this month, and he's a big floof now. 20915_9251...83ccb8.jpg
I have a Norwegian Forest Cat - the Viking cats that Maine Coons are descended from. Here is Iella being ladylike. Iella-bein...789b95.jpg
I miss my beloved Maine C**n. He was awesome! I keep telling my husband that I am going to adopt a Maine C**n and a Sphynx at the same time and name the Sphynx Fluffy and the Maine C**n Baldwin.
I have a Maine C**n Black and White Kitten who is eight months. He is now the same size as my largest moggie, who is 8kg himself. So Much Floof. He is going to be a big kitty :-)
I knew a C**n named Hoss. When he slept across the driveway he touched the grass on both sides.
Load More Replies...I noticed it on the pic with the four white kitties and started counting the toes on all the cats after that!!
Load More Replies...At a reputable breeder, so you know it's healthy, bloodlines are protected and you can get information on how to keep one. Get a cheap kitten - pay the vet more than a "good" kitten would have cost you. .
Load More Replies...When you have one or two, you don't need a dog to protect you lol Maine c.00n is the number 1 American favorite, number 2 is ragdoll.
I don't need a dog anyway. My 8 pound cat just drove off a pit bull. I had to go soothe wounded feelings.
Load More Replies...Kitties... so many beautiful kitties... Some look like men who would lift giant weights. Others look like they’d be graceful ballerinas. I love them all. Please give them to me. Their ears are the best!
I think I have decided what cat I want. Who cares about the fur factor, they are SO CUTE!
I have mixed feelings about expensive pedigree cats. They aare beautiful- but you cant let them out to be "cats". My cats were non pedigree and had the run of fields and cat stuff. Ok -- he bought rabbits as bresents - lots of pigeons-- as well as rats and mice
That is what holds me back having a pedigree too. I do not like indoor cats. They have to be able to go on patrol and catch the bad guys without risking being caught themselves.
Load More Replies...Unk. Boog cat! FLOOF! Cute hurt brain! Brain boom! Blerghk!! Joog go bye-bye now. * omg these cats are so gorgeous my brain just exploded and I need a minute to lie down.
I think the origin of the Maine C**n is not unknown as the author suggests. Great photos though.
Fantastic, beautiful, amazing, loveable, waiting to get mine!! They ARE!!! Non other like them, well .. maybe the Norweigan Forest Cat ... they get sooo big, but I'm in love with that as I cannot have a dog, so Maine Coons fit MY bill!! Excited and CANNOT wait for OUR day!!
Ahhhhh I love them! My cat Murphy is a MC mix and you can see the intelligence in his face compared to my other two. That and he is twice their size 😂 I fell in love with him the day i saw him and adopted him on the spot!
Our MC Sweet Hootie Blue Eyes was that adorable when we rescued him at four months old. He's 14 years old now, and still just beautiful. And huge - people think he's some type of hybrid wildcat :) And yes, he has his own bench out on his catio. Hootie-5c5...02c722.jpg
And His Highness doesn't like to share it with the four other Common Cats ;)
Load More Replies...We’re on our second RESCUE Maine c**n cat. Our first was injured by the cage the breeder had him in. They took him to be put down, but the vet called us instead. He required the bad leg to be amputated but of course, that didn’t slow him down. There are not words to describe how special this little guy was. He was with us 4 years when he developed the heart failure that is common to the breed. A vet college couldn’t save him but his disease was somewhat different and he was written up a vet medical journal. It was so hard to choose just a few photos that accompanied the article.
Then, along came The Great Catsby. Also, a rescue, we had his DNA tested and he shows no sign of the heart disease. He’s incredibly loving and lovable. He weighs 22 pounds 7 ounces, stretches from one side of our king size bed to the other, thinks he’s a little kitten. One of the photos above mentions "elegance" but our Catsby is a clown, a goof and I sometimes wonder if he thinks his name is Dammit Catsby.
Load More Replies...Totally adorable... just as an owner of 2,5kg cat I wonder how is the litter-box workload... 🙃
Non stop 😂 and TMI but he makes some epic smells lol
Load More Replies...There's a common Tabby cat in my home. He came from a shelter and is an absolutely moron. But i
It's highly unlikely that they came with 11th century Norsemen. There is no mention anywhere of Europeans finding domestic cats already here in the mid 15th century when colonization started in earnest. L'Anse aux Meadows was not inhabited for very long, and it's on an island a long way from mainland North America.
Yes the kittens are cute. So are ordinary ones. This article has probably gotten people interested in buying them, while other kittens are killed in shelters. Am not impressed
How will you feel when your daughter grows up and sees all of the awful things you post? I'm not usually bothered by trolls because I assure myself that they're just 10 year olds looking for attention, and that they'll grow out of it eventually, but you are a grown adult with a child!
