About 40 million adults in the United States suffer from anxiety (according to the ADAA). That's about 18% of the whole US adults population, yet the society still often misunderstands it. Luckily, India-based illustrator Pranita Kocharekar, who has suffered from anxiety herself, has started a project titled "Acknowledge Anxiety", which lets us peek into the reality of the health disorder. The project features a series of illustrations, showing what anxious people experience.
"I want to tell people that they're not alone", Kocharekar told Bored Panda. "Mental illness can really be difficult to handle and knowing that you're not alone itself is a saving grace."

When You're Sick And You Ask Dr. Internet For Cure
I'd rather go to the airport for my medical advice. - I can get a free x-ray, breast exam; and if I mention certain 'words or terms' they'll even give me a free colonoscopy.
They Don't Call You On Time And You Break A Sweat
This is actually a big one for me, especially if you add being introverted into the mix because you have to mentally prep yourself for a phone call, so when its super delayed or doesn't happen, its kind of a big deal.
You're Extremely Indecisive
I'm brutally honest with myself to the point I don't know if someone is asking for a truthful answer or a fabricated one.

Oh. If this is what people with anxiety feel like, then I think I have it. Is there any way of knowing for sure?
Unfortunately, I dunno any other way than consulting a professional, like, a doctor, or therapeut, or someone like this....

I think everyone has anxiety could be minor to really bad , my daughter has , she lost her last 3 years of school because of it
i can relate to most of these and i am in a long term relationship. I worry overtime that eventually my lad my split up with me because of the same ways that were illustrated here 😒😯
i dont think this is an accurate illustration of what anxiety is really like for most people who have anxiety. its a good start point for people who dont have it to understand but these seem more normal concerns. anxiety is more incredibly irrational thoughts which make you irrationally upset, worried, overthinking and distressed. it is continuous in many cases. i just hope that you dont consider you have anxiety just from the cartoon above.... these all seem pretty normal reactions to things.
If you are feeling anxiety and overthinking as illustrated on these great photos, you need to get this book asap! https://www.amazon.com/Head-Heart-Disrupt-Overthinking-Painting-ebook/dp/B01HF9JHN4/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1468272659&sr=1-5&keywords=head+to+heart
If you're fired, you're fired. If you're sick, you're sick. If you die, you're dead. A wasted life is spent worrying about the inevitable.
If people worrying about down-voting everyone with an original thought actually added something to the discussion themselves they might actually feel a little better. :)
