Too US-centric again. Dr Who started in 1963 in the UK, and we've never had Welcome back Kotter.
And the first episode aired the day after Kennedy's assassination.
Load More Replies...Some of these very much depend where in the world you live, as not everything was popular at the same time in every country. And I am annoyed at the walkman question, as they came out in the late 70's, but the question asked when they became popular. There was only a very short window from the walkman to the discman, and I had a discman in the mid-80's.
Right? I grew up on the East Coast, and the stupid glass blocks were everywhere in the 70's - guess it took a while to infect the rest of the country, lol
Load More Replies...I watched Dr Who in the 60s. Not everyone lives in the US, some of us live in the free world.
Punk may have been in niche clubs in 70s, never heard of it until 80s.
#24 is wrong. I saw my first aerobics class in 1969. Aerobics was definitely a thing before Jane Fonda started making her videos.
16/27. Not bad for someone born at the end of the 80s who doesn't live in the usa (some of these questions were about things popular in the usa).
