The seven deadly sins is a classification of vices within Christian teachings that originated around 3rd century AD. To shed new light on the grouping, Ari Paul has tweeted its updated version, and it instantly went viral.

Throughout history, the vices have been discussed in treatises, and depicted in paintings and sculpture decorations on Catholic churches. Paul’s remake, however, uses social media sites to prove that the capital vices are ingrained into human nature. It seems we haven’t overcome our darkest desires just yet. Scroll down to check out the modern cardinal sins, and let us know in the comments if you’re guilty of them, too.

Why should lust be a sin? We are biologically programmed to reproduce and lust is the way that drive works. Why should pride be a sin? Should we not be proud of our accomplishments?

I do agree, but in context of it being bad the intent is when someone takes that normal drive to and expresses it an unhealthy way. Cheating on a partner, treating people like sex objects etc. are taking it to a bad level. TBH I'm not sure tinder is the best example of this concept.
