Most of us artists have quite a lot in common, so I created some quick comics artists can relate to.
So let's laugh (and cry) together.

Can't Just Be Me?
Ugh tell me about it. You think you created your best work yet, and then you see some Instagram art that makes yours look like a five-year-old drew it -_-
The Only Time You've Been Relevant
I Wasn't Even Sure About This Very Comic
And I Was Seriously Convinced That Is Was The Best Idea Ever...
It's Not That Healthy I Guess
Am I the only one that doesn't care I get paint in my drink, I'll drink it anyways?
If You're One Of Those Artists That Struggle With Depression
I Once Tried To Zoom Into My Paper. Why.
I know how it feels, being an artist with depression-and I'm sure a bunch of other pandas do too- especially when you take your best work, and then look at it next to some hyper realistic piece of sorcery someone posted on here, and wonder how the hell people do it, how are they so good? Why can't I do this? And then this sends one into that big old downward spiral of self-worthlessness, thinking "what is the point?" "I suck at everything" "Why am I alive?" At these times it's easy to make the mistake of thinking you are the most pointless waste of time, but you gotta remember: The point of art is not making it look super goodamn hyper frickin' realistic, that's what cameras are for- Art is meant to send a message, to express ones feeling, and life experiences, and you can do this no matter how good of an artist you are. You've captured this ideal brilliantly, Jen, remember you're not alone in any of this. I hope you're okay, I really do. Your art is gorgeous, and we love you. Peace.
Thank you for your lovely comment :)
