Man Gets ‘Stuck’ With 47-Year Flight Connection, Travel Company Has Brilliant Response
Nobody likes long layovers during a flight. I once spent 32 hours in Brisbane airport (long story) and it wasn’t much fun. But that’s nothing compared to the flight connection this guy was offered recently, because while trawling for flights on Skyscanner, James Lloyd was presented with a 47-year stopover in Bangkok for a flight from New Zealand to the UK.
Surprised to find a 413786 hour wait for his connecting flight, Lloyd naturally queried the itinerary. “Hi Skyscanner,” he wrote on the company’s Facebook page. “Just wondering what you’d recommend I do during the 47 year layover your website has suggested?” And as you can see below, Skyscanner’s response was nothing short of brilliant.
