This isn't the first post we've done about 3D tattoos, and it's unlikely to be the last because the body art is constantly evolving and it looks so damn cool.
Popularized by pioneers such as Jesse Rix and Winston The Whale, these 3D drawings will make you look twice. Some of these tattoo designs look astonishingly real as if there actually is a beautiful butterfly perched delicately on the skin. Others are mind-bending 3D art illusions that contort the body in ways that shouldn't be possible.
So if you're looking for inspiration for your next tattoo ideas, why not consider adding another dimension? Scroll down below to check out this tattoo gallery filled with incredible designs compiled by Bored Panda, , and let us know what you think in the comments!

That's how I feel too... Cool art, but weird on a body
Load More Replies...It's like tattoo central around here! Personally, I don't have any tattoos or any plans to get any. The artistry is interesting, though.
I'm with you Nikki D. Nothing I can think of I would want on me forever. Looking back I shudder at what I may have gotten 20, heck, even 10 years ago. Not for me.
Load More Replies...What is the obsession with death and skulls, etc? To me, it implies a lack of self esteem and a desire to try and look hard. I don't understand why so many people think death is so cool. It's a hell of a cliché, too.
After seeing some of this artistic tatoos, make me wanna get one too. Then I realise they´re forever... Amazing work, brilliant technics. But not for me, yet.
Not all of them are amazing, some of them are actually pretty amateurish. Anyway, like I mentioned on another tattoo post, all the artists responsible need to be credited.
Tattoos always look great when first done, but then they fade to mud. Not my cup of tea.
Amazing Artistry, Talented People, T admire anyone who can do this type of work! Over the years I think my most favorite tatooing is on a leg or arm and looks like Carved Wood Work, so intricate. God Bless any Artist that can do any of this work,,, I stand in awe !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Artistically, they're amazing. But let's face it, even in 2019, their job possibilities with some of these tattoos are limited.
These were cool, some optical illusions, some creepy as heck, some cute.
Cool, and lots of talent involved but like all tattoo fads they started to look the same. Plus I only saw them for a brief time, not the rest of my life. And yes, I feel the same way about my own tattoos.
The era of the cyborgs is here. We want we aim the cyborgs. It was logical, still scarry.
Hard to focus on the art when the insipid comments make me roll my eyes so hard it hurts.
"Look at me! Look at me! Look at me! LOOK the F**K at MEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!"
