It is an undeniable fact that social media is an enormous part of our everyday lives. Wherever you go, there’s a chance you’ll see at least one person on their phone, scrolling through all the latest things that happened to the people he knows.

This American artist decided to turn this craze into art with a pinch of irony. Ben Fearnley made a project called “Social Media Reality” – it’s a set of conceptual 3D illustrations that use visual metaphors to simply sum up social apps and play on the way in which they are used. Scroll down to see them for yourself.

Bored Panda would be the modern art museum in which these sculptures are placed. Some displays are good, others are literal trash. The people running the museum may be biased to show certain displays that align with their political beliefs and worldview.
