30 New Pics That Reveal The Darker Side Of Our Favorite Cartoon Characters And They Might Ruin Your Childhood
Have you ever wondered how luxury and pop culture would influence our beloved cartoon characters? Well, look no further. In this day and age, everything is possible and illustrations look more realistic than ever before. 3D modeling programs such as Maya and Zbrush made it accessible for this Israeli artist's creations to come to life for us to experience and see characters such as “Spongebob” in a new light.
Gal Yosef is now known for his dark pop adaptations of these cartoon characters by improving his artform since he was only 13 years old. Therefore, no wonder his work over time has gained a lot of popularity.
Nowadays Yosef's designs have made it possible for him to have his very own studio called “Fuzion” based in Rishon LeTsiyon, Israel. We are thrilled to see Yosef grow and include more and more characters in his work.

It is fascinating to see how technology has evolved, especially knowing that the first-ever 3D modeling software was invented and developed in the 1960s. A. Sutherland created Sketchpad, a program for the three-dimensional modeling of simple objects such as cubes or prisms, available for the personal computer.
Tigger And Piglet From Winnie The Pooh
Hello Kitty
Back then it was impossible to create anything close to the art we see here by the artist Gal Yosef. Nowadays in the tech world, we have it comparatively easy knowing that anyone can own a computer and specific software; all you need is a will to learn and imagination.
Snoopy
Mew
Verified If Mew loves it he will never let it go.
To begin, you don’t need to have specific skills as simplified interfaces enable us to use these complex tools without years of experience. Obviously, to be able to create artwork as mesmerizing as Yosef has, the learning process might take longer. Gal Yosef is a self-taught prodigy in the field of 3D art and animation.

Dior brings me to life.
His work specializes in redesigned versions of our beloved cartoon characters. When Yosef was just 13 years old, his curiosity and love of painting and drawing led him to start exploring 3D design. Gal Yosef's artwork continues to evolve in the style of his most recent works, depicting a darker version of the cartoon world.
Pink Panther
The king of diamonds is alive and this is how he looks in the real world.
Why are so many of them smoking? Is that what's considered "gangsta" or thuggish? It's just disgusting, and ruins an otherwise pretty damn awesome image.

If so they should get their money back. This did not make these labels look very appealing.
Load More Replies...I don't think these really reveal anything, unless you're saying that they are all secret smokers. Smoking isn't exactly "dark"-- more gross and ill-advised.
PS - the artistry is good -- kind of a quirky aesthetic.
Load More Replies...This should be titled famous cartoon characters who are rich and addicted to smoking.
Who else doesn't see how this reveals a darker side of our favorite cartoon characters that might ruin our childhood?
Yeah, that was bad. The craft itself is really good! Very clean, recognisable and fluffy. And texture in general. But man, the IDEA is dumb. Yeah, we get it, such franchises aren't friendly comic friends but a way to get our money, which is the only thing they're really interested in. Boo f-ing hoo, it's nothing new. And here it's not even shown subtile, which could have been intriguing, it's a blunt hit to the face and feels flat. And the smoking? "WuuWUuHhhUuh, smoking is eViL!!1!" or what? That's super stupid and takes away even more of the concept.
