Nobody knew who any celebrity was until they did something that made them a celeb. This includes actors & musicians. How is this an argument? Furthermore, it completely removes the onus from the viewer/audience. Kim Kardashian‘s mother did not make her famous. She became famous from people consuming and continuing to consume whatever media or information she puts out there. It’s no f*****g different than George Clooney or anyone else. Arguing that people don’t deserve their fame or celebrity, especially when they’re one of the most famous people on the planet, speaks WAY more towards the masses of people who consume that celebrity, not the individual putting themselves out there. It’s no less deserving for her than it is for DiCaprio, given popularity is decided by audience.

God as a Mom I can't imagine SEEING a porn video of my adult child much less releasing it to the public for money I'll stay poor anyway...

"Dr." Phil is absolute garbage. He hired one of his very young female patients as his secretary, totally ignoring all conflicts of interest and confidentiality, had his license revoked (so he should be the LAST person to give anyone psychological advice) and generally treats his guests like garbage, especially the women.

The late Dabney Coleman would have been the perfect person to play him.

So if we're going to make this political, how about the so-so lawyer who became a sex worker with a decrepit and married old man to get a job as an a district attorney, sucked up to the rape-porn industry to become state attorney general, and then traded in her supposed victim status to become a vice president of the United States? Like an Asian daughter of university professors in San Francisco is totally the same thing as growing up in the Jim Crow south or the post-industrial northern ghettoes!
