It is that time of year again… time for the annual family Christmas cards and Santa’s “little elves” have been a part of our cards for 25 years.

As most people are out furiously shopping for just the perfect gift every year, I am behind the computer stressing over the family Christmas card and wondering if it will be a hit. Every year is an adventure and somehow… every year, my kids are willing participants.

1996. Our first Christmas card with our 1st son

He was a willing participant then and never looked back. Note – this was before photoshop.

1997. Ho Ho Ho…this time I had the 1st son stand in a box as I shot a roll of film of him in the box

Then my husband and I did self-portraits. The final image is a copy work of a handmade collage. Again, all of this before photoshop.
