Panama Papers is the sad and sinister part of this list. It shows (as if we didn't know already) that if you're rich/powerful, you can do whatever you want... What should have been a start of a gigantic scandal and criminal investigation now is just something almost everyone forgot...

I'm happy to say I have no idea what most of these are, and it doesn't look like I missed much.

My additions: Fidget cubes, Unicorns, Heelys, Lokai bracelets (there was always that one kid who would come in with $200 worth of these on his wrist)
