I’m Not Really A “Dog Person”, But This Big Red Dog Is Winning My Heart And Here’s Why
I thought I was a “dog person” when I married my husband over 14 years ago. Having both grown up with dogs, we planned on getting our own family dog one day; but our plans didn’t become a reality until last year when we added a large, male Mastiff/Golden Retriever to our already growing family of 5 daughters.
My husband insisted that Mastiffs are “gentle giants”. But I had forgotten the hair, the smell, and the drool that also comes along with owning a dog. I soon found myself wondering, “Am I really ‘dog person’?” But the more I see this “gentle giant” with my daughters, the more I can’t help but love him! As a photographer, I’ve created this series I call, “Our Big Red Dog”…

He’s winning my heart because…
He reads with us…
He checks the mail with us…
He travels with us…
He prays with us…
He waits with us…
He watches over us…
He dances in the rain with us…
He loves us…
We love him!

Thank you, Chris! I'm glad you like that one! I was unsure, but liked the "fun" it added to the series :) So, thanks for the positive feedback!
