Amarist Studio along with Alejandro Monge, presents a new functional art piece. A pyramid of 50€ burning bills; or that is what seems to hold the glass urn and concrete structure of this surprising coffee table.
The artwork captures the moment of combustion of the banknotes, enhanced by a real flame burning from the top of the pyramid.
The end result leads to a generous coffee table, with great visual power, able to stimulate the thoughts of the viewer. Surprisingly, neither the money, the ashes nor the concrete is real. Everything has been done with sculpting resins, paint, and paper.
One of the most interesting things about this piece is, in fact, to see the different reactions that cause on people depending on their culture and background.
