Mamma Bones is a Massachusetts based fiber artist who has been knitting aluminum scales into wearable art for over 3 years. One of the first artists to create scalemail with yarn instead of rings, she hand knits every item and is especially fond of custom orders.

looks great! and, what I would use it for, is for attending Mardi Gras/Carnivale in St Louis or Québec City -- too cold or at least iffy weather to wear new orleans/rio de janeiro costumes, but dont want to wear parka neither.
