Slovakian built, the Ecocapsule is a Tiny Home 8.2m² (88ft²) made of a high-capacity, insulated fibreglass shell, with an aluminium framework. Their first product run, consists of 50 units, priced at €79,000 exc. VAT ($89K). They say, that all of the profits from the first sale, will go into mass producing the capsules and making them cheaper. The fist 50 will be sent out in the third quarter of 2016. The Ecocapsule can be connected to the mains or produce its own energy with solar and wind power. It has a water collection and filtration system in the base of the capsule, it can be topped up if needed. It can be transported and moved around very easily and that is a big plus but, I think that if they want to sell in big numbers, it has to be made a lot more affordable. More Statistics below.
