What happens if a guy who loves “The Little Mermaid“ get his own fishtail?

He turns into a Merman and lives his underwater dream. The German guy, known on Facebook as „Merman Sven“ is about to become a new Internet phenomenon. From zero to nearly 4000 Fans from 40 different countries in a few months. That’s a start of his Facebook page he never expected.

“As I always told my friend about me being addicted to the little mermaid, he surprised me on my birthday one day, with my own merman outfit. Not just a costume, but a real monofin to swim and dive with.
I posted pictures of me as the Merman on my Facebook page and was flattered how many people liked and shared my pictures. So many out there have the same hook on “The Little Mermaid”, mermaids and this miracle underwater world like I do.”

It started that artists all over the world, began to draw and paint pictures of Merman Sven, Magazines in Germany that write about Merman Sven as an inspiration of Art and Artists.

Even one of the animators who worked on the original Walt Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” became one of Sven’s follower and calls Merman Sven since than his new Muse. It’s definitely a page to have an eye on and see where this underwater world journey of Merman Sven is leading to.
