There are Organisations like WOC ( War on Cancer) that dedicate their time, and effort to fight cancer, research more treatments and most importantly helping Cancer patients share their stories, a lot of the patients love to share their stories, and it might help them fight the disease, so maybe you can see it with another perspective !

@Quant, I get what your saying, but knowing a problem exists and seeing it are two different things. Everyone knows there are issues with overpopulation in animal shelters, and homeless animals, but when those sarah mclaughlin commercials come on, you see those sad puppy dog eyes, the singing kicks in, you see the fear and need to be loved in the eyes of those homeless animals, a lot of people are moved to do something, anything. Adopt an animal, or donate at the very least. It's a painful reality, but some people are moved more by imagery than spoken word.

Explicit public exploitation is putting fake eyelashes and tan on your child. Make them wear wigs and prance around for everyone's enjoyment. That's not real life. This is.

I think sharing it with people helps the mother as well as others whom are suffering with similar thing - surely knowing there's somebody out there whom knows how you feel makes you feel better doesn't it? Assuming from what's said about his father she's a single mother to whom seeing her child in such state is overwhelming. If you do not wish to see it, why click on it?

This entire website is one big clickbait. They make money of of making articles that in one way attracts peoples attention and evoking emotion works really well. With that said, it is questionable that an "profit entertainment" website should post/copy this. I don't agree that everyone is really aware of the seriousness of Cancer. But you can also ask yourself if everyone SHOULD be made aware of EVERY dangerous disease/danger if it doesn't directly concern you. Should we be in constant fear of every possible danger? Is that a way to live? Sure if you have an inheretable disease it would be handy to be awaye of the realistic dangers.

Very well said. People shouldn't criticize this mom because knowing cancer exists and seeing and emotionally feeling the effects it has on people are not the same. This isn't clickbait because it told exactly what the heading said it would, it was an important issue, and to everyone who disagrees, did you not know when you clicked on it that is would be about cancer? So yes, @lunanoir69, I agree with you, and everyone else who understands how awful cancer is. P.S. to everyone who posted a mean comment, imagine that mom reading your comment. How would she feel knowing that people don't care about her little boy and think that this is clickbait? Sometimes you have to put yourselves in others' shoes and look at things from someone else's point of veiw.
