Seven Samurai Cat
Inspired by the classic Japanese movie, “Seven Samurai.”
Bountiful Catch
Samurai Cat(ch) series, red.
Cat Vs Cat (Fish)
In Japanese traditional art “Namazu” – a giant catfish – is believed to cause earthquakes. He lives in the mud under the islands of Japan, and is guarded by the God Kashima who restrains the catfish. I think God was actually a big cat with the hope to save mankind.
Samurai Catloo
RGB Cat painting series, blue. Inspired by Jin (Samurai Champloo) from Japanese animation.
Samurai Cat X
RGB Cat series, red. Inspired by Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin), a Japanese manga and animation from the 90s.
Three Swords Cat
RGB Cat series, green. Inspired by Roronoa Zoro (One Piece) from Japanese manga and animation.
Lord Of Cats
Takeda Neko gen, a preeminent feudal lord with military prestige who sought the control of Japan in the late stage of the Sengoku period.
The Big Catch
Inspired by Japan folklore of Kintaro or “the Golden Boy” battling a giant carp. Perhaps the legend did not mention that Kintaro was actually a cat and he was battling a carp with a “kabuki” makeup.
Fruitful Catch
Japanese style Samurai Cat(ch) series, green.
Nekojutsu
“Neko” means a cat, and “Jutsu” means technique, method, spell, skill or trick. He’s the cat who is going to be the next hokage (means Fire Shadow)!
Delightful Catch
Samurai Cat(ch) series, blue.
