A little while ago now I had a martial artist, self taught in the the art of Jeet Kune Do, arrive at the studio to capture a personal portfolio, his specialty – the nun chuck.
So I thought I would take this opportunity to have a play with some slower flash speeds and capture a little motion in the moves, along side some flash and blur techniques so we can see the movement of the weapons.

Taking advantage of the ambient light for the added drama, we moved this adventure outdoors for a few extra images!!
