Plus-Sized Model Challenges Beauty Standards By Starring In Her First Modelling Shoot

The fashion industry has a reputation for being unwelcoming to plus-sized women and the models who model their clothes, but one lady’s trying to change all of that. Tess Holliday has become the largest model (UK size 26, US size 22) to sign with a top photo agency – MiLK Modeling Agency in the UK.
The tattooed model has already represented a line of plus-sized women’s clothing. “There is no one way to be a woman, or to be beautiful,” she told Dailymail. “We all deserve a place.”

You're right. It is good to feel preety, but obesity isn't ony about apperence. It is source of many, many illnes. This size isn't healthy.

Agreed. Gorgeous face; unhealthy! I struggle w/my weight; even a few extra lbs effects overall well being. Not good; shouldn't be encouraged

Maryana, How do you "see" that? Fat =/= unhealthy and skinny =/= healthy. She works out 4 days a week. She's not "unhealthy"

I'm 183lbs and 5'5" and my cholesterol is 149 and my glucose is 79 I know someone that's 115lbs and has cholesterol levels over 200.

obesity is the incapabilityof mobility and personal care..she obviously doesnt live at her bed or have someone bring her a p**s pan and give her sponge baths..remember this people..she isnt obese..she can do alot more than you think.

Obesity is not what it is here..usually obese people are bed ridden and cant barely make it to their own bathrooms and never leave their house..I think alot of people dont understand the difference in that regarding this model is very capable of mobility and independance.
