I Use Photography As Therapy To Work Through My Mental Illness
I’m a conceptual photographer based in Brighton, England. I’ve been living with a mental illness for most of my life. I believe in some ways that it has made me more creative and I’ve learnt to channel my emotions through my work.
I started experimenting with Photoshop and taught myself to create these surreal images that can help me explain my emotions.
Although personal experiences are a frequent theme in my work, I also enjoy creating surreal fantasy scenes, often with fairies, or miniature people.
I’m so grateful for the support my work has had and I hope to raise awareness of mental health issues!

Share on FacebookI really like them, the alice is my favorite. Very creative pieces and I hope they have helped, even in some small way. I deal with issues of my own and have found creative writing helps me so I can see how this would help as well. Keep doing what you do, sometimes the most tortured soul can create the most beautiful art.
Thank you so much, they have definitely been therapeutic to make. Good luck with your creative writing!
