Hey there, I am Nayan Shrimali and my partner Vaishali we are Paper cut artist based in India. Myself and my partner we make paper cut artworks and wearable. This series of Paper cut artworks contains some of the most inspirational and our favorite characters from history and cinema.

We have been experimenting with paper cut art since last 1 year. We explored different types of paper art and methods to create some unique art and wearable. In this series of artworks we explored the details of a face and expression of a human being through different layers of papers and colors.

All the artwork made are completely hand cut and hand painted on paper with a paper cutting knife and acrylic colors and assembled carefully to perfection.The artwork are made in different layers to give depth and a tactile feeling to the artwork so it appears more real to the viewer. We painted the artworks to achieve the perfect “skin tone” for all the different personalities. It was the most challenging part in the process of making these artworks and the most fun part also.
