I had an interesting opportunity to work with this pair of loving souls who wanted some extraordinary photos for their casual pre-wedding photography. Drawing inspirations from Thumbelina, they requested to turn themselves into miniature people in their photos. The themes were derived from the proposal ring and a local eatery (Swee Choon Tim Sum Restaurant) – a place where their love story began. My favourite, also the highlight of this miniature series, was the one in which the groom carried the proposal ring. Cuteness aside, it also brought across a strong message to remind us that marriage is a heavy commitment to keep.

Both the groom and bride were really fun people to work with. Their enthusiasm had brought much joy during the photography session and helped to generate many ideas for these miniature photos. The result was simply satisfying and the photos absolutely portrayed them just the way they are!
