The grisly thought about a deathbed might be quite unnerving for anyone, but not for these famous people. Knowing the last words someone spoke can sometimes throw light on their character or the circumstances in which they died. You can't help but feel that some of the last quotes by famous people on this list encapsulate their personas. These phrases are the final words commonly used to describe a person’s last words before death.
And these celebrities’ last words vary so much! From the ever-level-headed Winston Churchill, who declared in his final moments that he was ‘so bored with it all’ to Malcolm X’s last words asking for peace and Michael Jackson’s last words requesting “milk,” an anesthetic. Some final words are deep and profound, while others are short of winning the funniest last words contest.
This list of celebrities’ last words was compiled by Imgur user Howsthepeeping. Do you know of any last words and inspirational quotes that belong on this list? We’d love to have them on this list, though we ask our readers to please keep their comments and submissions respectful of these people’s memories.

What Are the Most Common Last Words Before Death?
Most often, the last words before death are quite brief because there isn’t much energy left to hold a full conversation. In fact, some of these last words of famous people might not be exactly the very last ones they said, either.
It’s been observed that the last words can be mumbled curse words or something seemingly insignificant to those listening but of great importance to the person saying them. Often, the very last words could be asking to see their parents or loved ones or telling them they’re loved no matter what.
And while most of us won’t be quoted on our final words, there are these famous people whose legacy and their last words will be remembered forever. And to quote Billie Holiday’s last words, let’s not be in such a hurry to forget.

Kurt Cobain Quoted Neil Young Lyrics When He Wrote This Line In His Suicide Note
Firstly, pretty sure that's a Def Leppard lyric, not Neal Young. Secondly, I fully support the theory that he was murdered, for a few reasons. One, the shotgun used was found on his chest, as he lay on his back on the floor. Anyone who has ever used a shotgun, knows they kick like a mule and would not have stayed in place. And before anyone mentions that the grip of his hands would have kept it in place, no, it would not. A shot to the head, it's lights out, all muscles relax in that instant and are not holding on to anything. Second, the gun that was used was entirely too long to have made placing the barrel under one's chin and still being able to pull the trigger an easy feat. Not impossible, mind you, but awkward at best. The description of the scene seemed entirely too "clean" and didn't sit well with me. My first impression was then and remains, that he was murdered.
